Morning [chat]. I was gonna watch the new Extra Credits, but the stupid Dennys ad won't load properly, and as such, I can't get any video on PATV to play. Also, there's no "help" or "report issue" or "contact admin" link anywhere, so overall I'm feeling pretty disappointed in both PATV and Dennys.
This is just another example of advertisements ruining everything good in this world.
MtG removing the concept of manaburn sucked. Mainly because I advanced to the final of a tournament I subsequently won thanks to my opponent mana burning himself to death.

I was pretty underwhelmed by a Link to the Past. Then again, I'm not enamored with the franchise as a whole. I really dig the original for nostalgic reasons. Ocarina was cool. Best is Wind Waker. I think the cel shaded really embodies the spirit of the franchise.
i am somewhat tempted to get a wii u because i can get old games on it but it would probably sit unused for years at a time like my wii

my wii was really a conduit for classic gaming that i missed out on
i only had a few games for my SNES and I never had an N64 (although my NES collection was quite large at one point!) so i bought a bunch of virtual console games on it that i never really got to play and some classics that i adore
after i got over the initial "i can play every game from my childhood" thing i would turn it one once every couple of years to play like 15 minutes of mario 64 or something, then turn it off again

well there was the one where you start without a sword and has terrible graphics, and then that one with the flute and the horse, but they're really more spin off games than true sequels
