Huh that is odd, I know this isn't the debugging photobucket thread (well it kinda is now) but are you using a script or add blocker?
I get the weird behavior when mine is on, then when I turn it off it still goes to the mobile site but then if I go back and click AGAIN it goes to the full image.
I think it has some kind of flag it drops on when it sees your not a mobile device and lets you see the normal page but assumes you want their social networked version by default.
