What's with immigration ministers pursuing hilariously expensive and horrible-PR attempts to remove a tiny number of highly visible, cause célèbre migrants? Do they secretly oppose immigration restrictions or something? A government that actually wants to indulge the casual xenophobia of the working classes does exactly the opposite, indulge the made-for-TV cases and then pack all the unsympathetic examples back onto the boat.

So, for those who don't follow the Homebrew thread, I started fermenting a 5 gallon carboy of mead on August 7th. There are oranges for flavour and raisins for the yeast in the recipe (As well as cinnamon and nutmeg). When the mead clears and the fruit drops, you're done. Should take about two months. Well, it's 1 week from four months and the fruit has not fallen so I took a gravity reading today.
7.6% alcohol content by volume, and the taste test came back with high marks! Sweet, but not strongly so. The alcohol taste was there, but it mellows with time.
Super happy with the results, which means it's time to bottle.

but that's not how indulging the daily mail crowd works. The daily mail crowd is convinced that they're not racist, but

I seem to recall enjoying 'Écailles de lune'. That is all I can contribute to this conversation.
"Souvenirs..." was the album before that and was good too. Worth checking out if you liked that one.

This is a poster that suits the movie so damn well. The almost alien appearance, the look of age and so on.

It is one of the best war movies I've ever seen. And it has a level of raw power that is tremendous. But I'm not sure I could watch it again.
This whole season has been aces.
