So P10, the 2nd Gig episode I would know when I saw it: I'ma say you meant the one where Motoko walks around naked for a while and then propositions a street urchin.

I am something like 90% sure that this is the one you meant.
    yes thats the one

    Yeah, that was a thing.

Any ways, I finished the series last night; was good. (Poor Tachikomas, QQ.)

I liked Kuze and his arc quite a bit. Made me wonder whether FMA's makers took some inspiration from him for Scar.

Sometimes I got a very strong Cowboy Bebop vibe. Both the mid-episode music and fight choreography felt similar between the two shows.

I made a game! Hotline Maui. Requires mouse and keyboard.

I liked Breaking Bad, mostly, but I got a strong sense that they were always making up each new plot turn by the seat of their pants. And I dislike it when shows give me that impression. It also wore me down that almost literally everyone in the show was a jerk.

This is a common misperception. They had planned out quite a bit of the development of the characters, and plot points at the start of each season, but they would change things as they thought that a different direction worked better. Jesse was supposed to die in season 1 (pink = death, he is Pinkman) but when they put the actors together they saw that the relationship was magic and changed it. Clearly for the better IMO. That's very different than a show like Lost which is about mysteries and long running plots all of which were just made up as they went.

Like, I get wanting to feel like the whole show was crafted from the outset, but even movies undergo partial rewrites on set and they are usually less than 2 hours. Breaking Bad is nearly two DAYS long. Complaining about it being "made up as they went" us kind of like complaining that all the scripts for the harry potter movies weren't written and finalized before they started shooting the first one.

I watched The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt's first episode last night.

I dislike that the protagonist makes a lot of jokes similar to ones that Tina Fey's character made for years on 30 Rock. I like pretty much everything else. Theme song still great.

I made a game! Hotline Maui. Requires mouse and keyboard.

It feels so much like 30 Rock. The premise is completely different, but it feels so familiar, down to the score and how it's presented.

Which is great. No complaints. I am really, pleasantly surprised with Ellie Kemper.

Hahaha man my neighbour might be one of my least favourite human beings this guy is just

the most annoying person to share a wall with

I can hear him crooning to his cat in this sing song voice which is fine except I don't think he has a cat, like I'm pretty sure there's no cat in there

and two days ago he started hammering nails into the wall we share at like thigh height or, since I was laying in bed at the time, on the opposite side of the wall where my head was
