We've got enough money for you to retire. You don't have to all come at once if you don't trust me. I know I wouldn't. Just test it out with one or two. We'll get you retired tonight and then can continue that pattern until we've all won the game.
Players Retirement is a Character Action, and happens before the Vote (which happens before Role Actions). I'll process that request as soon as I can, but it's guaranteed to happen before Vote or Role Actions.
Yes, ZH, I know you are mafia and you are retiring today.
So then you know that a mafia is about to be removed from the game, thanks entirely to the Starwhal.
I think you are overestimating what kind of collusion we had at the beginning. There really wasn't much. I did what i could to keep my crew alive and luck with the reaver and vig kills obliged me.
After a few days, I realized that we had enough money to retire one of our crew. I revealed my alliance-ness to the captain and we agreed it would be mutual beneficial if i could retire. I would win the game, and it would put the crew a little closer to winning the game. The loser here would be the mafia, a little bit, since i would be abandoning their cause. Kinda crappy of me, but I tried to be sporting with it. I used none of their resources to reach retirement.
Setting up a ship that is amenable to mafia members looking to be bribed, with the resources and ability to do so, is a net win for the village, and the individuals within the mafia. The reavers are the total losers here, because i suspect they cannot be bribed.
This game sort of sets up mixed allegiances and i tried to be even handed, and above the table with everything. I'm pretty sad that not killing my crew resulted in this firestorm. Maybe after the game, since jdark saw everything i did, he would be able to advise me on how to not set space on fire.
Also, I'm assuming the Reavers are paying attention. But whatever ship ZH and Bedlam are on are likely working with the Alliance. That means they are working against you. Until actions are seen (retirements, whatever), everything is just words. If you plan to go kill some folks, I'd recommend looking at the ship of both of your enemies.
Unless we have a good lead, I'd still recommend voting for the outed mafia. Worse case scenario, we kill nobody. Best case scenario, we kill a mafia or avoid killing a villager.
If he actually retires, all well and good. Either way, one less mafia.
It'd be interesting if the reavers actually had a conversion mechanic, but no independent win condition like the villagers and apparently the alliance informants. Having a group kill and a conversion, however, seems somewhat unlikely. Perhaps if the reavers started with very small numbers, like 1-2, but otherwise it just seems like it'd be too strong.
I suppose I'll follow Obifett's lead and vote Garick. I should also get around to getting my vote spreadsheet up to date, which I've been putting off because it will require updating it to handle competing mafia groups.

I'm betting TRV[/]b is as well.
edit: And just so I'm clear, what exactly is the village game plan now?

Any reason for that bet?

Then lets go with Garick for now
Just my general gut feeling for his play style and the fact that once I mentioned it he backed way off.
Do we get to know the alignment of those who retire?
Garick

I still think Assuran has a decent chance of being a Reaver, for the record.
In narration i expect.
