So, I'm having half-formed arguments about why the DC live-action stuff is shit. I have Batman: the brave and the bold as a counter to Goyer and Snyder.
What are the most loved Superman, Batman and suicide squad comics?
All-star Superman is obvious. What are other Superman comics?
Morrison and Scott Snyder have done great things with Batman. How accessible are those?
What about suicide squad?
Birthright, For All Seasons, For the Man Who Has Everything are all good places to start.
I imagine it's great when you're starting out because it means steady work for several years. But then you get all famous and are offered jobs that pay an order of magnitude more, but you can't take as many now because you're still stuck in this comic contract that's paying you like you're still new to the scene and not being paid millions to headline other films.
Man, I am so excited for the next season of all the DC TV shows
So excited for more of The Flash! It was such a strong first season and I'm almost worried they'll run out steam (though it is the Flash, speeding through the material sounds about right).
I just hope they do Iris better next season, because wow that was Smallville Lana Lang-tier bad most of the time.
Also hyped for iZombie if that counts as DC.

I think All-Star is probably not going to convince anyone who doesn't like the goofy parts of superman already
As someone who hadn't read a huge volume of comics and thought that MoS was alright, but not a War Crime, reading Birthright immediately made me wish they had stuck far, far closer to that as an adaptation. It's..well, hopeful
Where would someone begin with Morrison Batman? Snyder Batman?
Morrison Batman you probably have two starting points. For Bruce Wayne people I'd start with Son of the Bat. That ramps up to the Black Glove and then RIP, which gets Silver Age referential.
For people who are awesome and like the most awesome Batman and Robin team up ever, Morrison and Quietly's Batman & Robin.

I wasn't sure if he was serious, but Buck did indeed see the film so I can remove Fantastic Four from my to-watch list.

Apparently Sue doesn't even get to go on the trip that gives them their powers, it's Victor, Reed, Johnny and Ben. She gets zapped with energy when they teleport back.
Yeah wow, I didn't exactly have high hopes but I was hoping for something beyond "absolute trankwreck". Hmm.

Still more money than I'll ever see though.

They're not good
For Snyder, you can jump right in with new52 Batman #1. It's the start of Court of Owls.

I don't think he could. He doesn't even cut it, it literally just grows to that exact point and then stops.
I saw the trailer for it when I went to see Ant-Man with my dad. He was so confused as to what the fuck was going on.
Unlike a half-breed a pure-blooded saiyans hair does not grow at all from the moment he is born. With the exception of beards, and mustaches.
