    My keyboard broke so I have acquired this fairly ridiculous but undeniably awesome piece of technology:
    g910-orion-spark-rgb-mechanical-gaming-keyboard.png

    Right now it looks blue rather than rainbow-colored but still pretty cool!
    (I hope it was my keyboard that was broken rather than something more vital, but I did want a gaming keyboard in any case)
    (and yes I know they've highlighted wasd instead of qwer, but what can you do.)

    You can change the lighting using the Logitech Gaming software. I just got that same keyboard! Too bad the Arx Control thing isn't very well-supported, even after a year. :( Also, I miss the USB ports on the older G15s and such. It was nice having a built-in USB hub on my keyboard.

    I like the Rainbow Wave thing it does when you first boot up your computer and the keyboard turns on. Pretty trippy.

    I had a $20 not-backlit thing, and it lasted 6 years! But 2-3 days ago my computer started acting up and after some panic I realized it was the keyboard finally dying. Sooooo...time for a slightly ridiculous purchase! Happy Hanukkah to myself from myself.
