I wonder if Trump has forbidden his campaign from deleting his tweets. There have been so many critisims of Trump that use his earlier tweets that contradict what he says now. Every politician deletes tweets, even perfectly inoffensive tweets will be deleted, but Trump seems dead set on never deleting his tweets even if he claims they never existed in the first place. His campaign already has control of his tweet account, they could just do it. They're either completely incompetent (I don't think so, they're bad, but not that bad) or else Trump has told them not to.

Probably just the case that his 10 year old cyber advisor simply hasn't figured out how to delete tweets yet.

I feel bad for the person in that tweet screen cap.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.

This was absolutely Clinton's night.
Trump needed to sway undecided voters. He needed to come out calm and make Hillary struggle, and instead bragged about paying no taxes, rooted for the housing crisis, lost big on minority and women's issues and flailed wildly.
Supporters on both sides weren't going to be swayed by anything outside of a full fucking meltdown, but this event wasn't about them. It was about showing, one on one, who was more prepared and ready to be President, and who was able to stand up to pressure and speak on policy, in order to sway the undecided vote.
Trump fucked that up hard.
This isn't over by any stretch of the imagination. It's going to get far, far uglier, but if Hillary can stay above the muck she might just pull this off.

This loss is going to have Trump reeling for at least a couple of days. One has to assume he's gonna have to seriously change his strategy to survive the next debate, right?

Plan for next debate:
Either no moderator or I won't show up!
HRC mopped the floor with him for sure. I'm glad to see that a lot of the analysis/spin so far is pretty much in agreement that Trump screwed the pooch.
Reflexively I want to think "Trump will learn from this and prepare better next time. I wonder what will happen then." On the other hand, he seems kinda incapable of learning or adjusting his habits/behavior, so we could just get a couple more of these.

Yeah he'll probably get some public speaking tips from, like, David Duke or something
It's because he wasn't debating Hillary. He was debating Bill Clinton and Obama. He doesn't understand or know her policies so he goes after Obama and Bill.

I am honestly curious if he is even recognizing it as a loss.
Wheeee someone I know (and actually like spending time with, no really) is on the "they are both equally bad" train. Plus some gems like "maybe if Trump gets elected people will REALLY see how bad the GOP is & fracture the party (nevermind the hugely bad negative consequences)" and "that Pepe press release was SUPER BAD FOR HILLARY." And that old gem "she's dying/insane."
*Headdesk* How do I even deal?

My gut tells me to explain to them, patiently, that they are being fuckin ignorant. Then thrash them about the head and neck with a phone book.

I particularly liked how he said he agreed with Clinton that nuclear weapons the greatest threat, not global warming, the way Clinton thinks it is.
I would say it wasnt 100% a rout. Trump was somewhat together for the first... 10 minutes, and but then he just fell apart. Clinton was just dunking all night long though. So like 80% rout.
I seriously doubt anyone would claim that Trumo was competent tonight. That might not be the metric with which you decide who won, but the guy was pretty incoherent all evening. The best thing you could say about his performance is also the worst thing; that pretty much the entire night was centered around him and things he's said and done. He of course talked about how amazing he is, and Clinton mostly talked about how full of shit he is.

That would imply someone self-destructed in order to blow him up.

In this analogy, the Saibaman is a comment about Trump's birther shit.

Yes.
No Ranger Threads.

It doesn't! That's exactly why he wants to talk about it! #trumplogic
He's flailing. Trying to play to the narrative that he held back, that if he'd really wanted to he could've totally won the debate.
Because it shows Hillary is a weak woman

He literally agreed with Clinton's gun control stance only he also added confiscation of guns during random stop and frisks.

From a paper that endorsed Trump:
I believe so, yep.
I would say it wasnt 100% a rout. Trump was somewhat together for the first... 10 minutes, and but then he just fell apart. Clinton was just dunking all night long though. So like 80% rout.
His supporters should have known the man is too indolent to prepare for a debate.
