What causes a dessert to be for millionares, exactly?

Charging 10 grand a slice, typically.

    Gold leaf on everything

What causes a dessert to be for millionares, exactly?

    Financiers

Little tea cakes that got their name from being made in molds that shape them like gold bars, which made them popular in the financial district of Paris.

They are freaking delicious. Almond financiers, chocolate, hazelnut, pumpkin, gingerbread, matcha - however you end up flavoring them, they're always one of my favorite little cakes. One of the best things I ever learned in pastry school, especially since they can be perfectly enjoyable by themselves but also go well with so many things. It's a super versatile base recipe that can be adjusted for larger cakes, and flavored almost any way you want. So good.

Every time I read the phrase 'Millionaire's Shortbread', I hear the Douglas Reynholm pronunciation in my head.

If you don't mind me asking, what was your degree/training like in terms of disability awareness and adjustments? I'm broadly familiar with the Victorian teaching curriculum in that respect (work stuff), but I'm curious about elsewhere in Aus.

All are required states are required due to the disability and anti-discrimination act.

We did a semester class on it which dealt with a range of issues with providing support such as, dyslexia/dysgraphia, ESL, gifted and talented, aboriginal education, autism and gender (which was the most disappointing as it was a, statistically, boys are like this, women are like this)

How desperate are you for sweets that you'll put chocolate and caramel on a sponge and eat it? You can just eat chocolate and caramel if that's what you want

Look at Amelia Bedelia over here! Why don't you dress the chicken by fitting it into tiny clothes, draw the drapes by sketching them onto a piece of paper, dust the furniture by covering it with cosmetic dusting powder, and put the lights out by hanging lightbulbs on a clothesline, you goober.

I just took one of my cats to the vet because he had some swelling on one of his back feet. I was expecting a sprain or maybe a small fracture because he wasn't in any pain and was eating/acting like normal. Turns out he's just missing part of a tarsal due to either a tumor or a bone cyst. It just ate the damn thing. The little guy is only 3 and a half and he might lose his leg. He and his sister are what got me through the year after my divorce, so I'm pretty gutted right now. I have an appt with a surgeon on Monday to discuss next steps.

It's been required for WA for a while? Interesting. Victoria only had it become mandatory in the past two/three years.

Edit: Oh, wait no, I think I'm thinking of something slightly else. (I was thinking about discrete PD/training on disability awareness and adjustments and such.) Has what you did been useful in practice?

If it's any consolation him losing a leg would probably bother him less than it will bother you because animals are hardcore. But that sucks and I'm sorry, I hope he recovers well.

The trick with cats is to treat them with the same aloof approach they have. I just show up and if the cat doesn't like me that's their fucking problem. I'm great, and they're the ones missing out.

I know jack shit about Star Trek.

Ferengi are gross caricatures much like many star trek aliens, basically they were created to be everything that the federation isn't.

So they are gross sexists who do not allow their women to participate in their society or even wear clothes.
