I feel like Ajax and Achilles would both need to be Dark Angels to really get that homoerotic subtext across. Rowboat can be Zeus! Blood Ravens, Lamenters, Exorcists and the rest of the plucky 3rd stringers can be the Trojans! The Minotaurs can be themselves.
Oh trust me. We can get the homoerotic subtext across anyway. Although placing the Achillies/Patroclus ho-yay in any chapter except Dark Angels would have been heresy I felt that Ajax of the Salamineans really had to be Ajax of the Salamanders.
As for the Ultramarine successor chapters...good idea. They're disciplined, more uniform and there are so god damn many of them.
Blood Ravens though. They really have to be on the greek side. They're obviously there to steal more artifacts from their fellow marines.

I don't know how much cross referencing there is, but in case anyone here doesn't go to Critical Failures I want to show off some more. I'm extremely jazzed about finishing something.
I still have about 40 tactical marines, two squads of devastators and 2 squads of assault marines, plus vehicles and more bikes, to go.
I just realized Imperial Fists, the Legion of fortification specialists, probably got their yellow color scheme due to real life construction equipment being primarily yellow.
That's how you know that it's Mork. 'cuz a dapper hat makes you look very kunnin'.
