I actually like Burn Notice and Leverage. And White Collar. I need more emphasis on the boring part.
Midsomer Murders maybe? That seems to be on Netflix at least. That Blue Heelers things sounds like more of what I'm looking for.
I just need a really plain cop type show with nothing else going on. I was forced to watch six seasons of a really bad show by someone (who had already seen it and made me watch all of it again with them) and they just watched another similar show a second time and want to immediately watch it a third time with me. Every somewhat interesting show I have suggested or tried to watch has been shot down, walked out on or met with silence.
So I just need something really long, slow and boring that I can put on consistently for a good long while and never have to think about it.
Midsomer Murders is exactly what you're looking for. I don't think there was a single episode I that I saw that had one shred of surprise in it and it has like a million seasons. Death in Paradise is much the same, only that has the upside of being set on a tropical island.

I can vouch for every season of Supernatural up to season 9.
Yes, the first few are definitely the best but the show never really stops being entertaining.

Now current on The Good Place. Janet is still the best.
ah ha! Vindication on being almost correct The retooling to be more behind the scenes is an excellent move and I've got a lot of faith that it's not going to run that gag into the ground either.
Oh my god the turn the show takes halfway through season 2. This show is the turbo-dumbest and I love it. It's easily the most comic book of any of the superhero shows since Batman '66.
Continued thoughts: B D Wong is an absolute treasure and delight.

I know they watched all of Death in Paradise, so I think you've nailed it.
I know a lot of the look of Discovery skewing more towards the reboot-films despite it being set in the TV-verse is probably going to get handwaved but...
...I can't help feeling that there's an actual reason why the Klingons we're seeing right now look different then what they're supposed to look like at the moment as well as their race's pre-genetic-tinkering appearance. It's like we're seeing the Reman version of Klingons for the lack of a better term.
Yeah I've been waiting for the right mood to bite the bullet on that, and by right mood I mean miserable

That Star Trek show seemed very complicated. Some of that might have been due to me constantly trying to fit it into the existing universe and also figure out their uniforms.
New DuckTales had two new episodes yesterday according to my DVR. No idea if they're available anywhere now.
One of them had esteemed character actress Margo Martindale.
Young cartoon viewers are learning what savy film and TV viewers have known for years.
Margo aint afraid of anything.

Are these duck tales episodes on YouTube too?
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
We started watching The Exorcist this weekend. First episode was real good, second was eh. The idea of a rogue priest that plays outside the rules makes me roll my eyes so hard my head goes up my ass. Plus this is the one series i really needed everyone to not be super pretty and nope. Side unrequited romance storyline is amazingly dumb as well.
I'm very disappointed to see there's a season 2 coming, i really want this to have a solid end.

I'm still vaguely upset that an Exorcist TV show exists instead of an adaptation of Paul Tremblay's A Head Full of Ghosts. Which is an absolutely unreasonable thing to be upset about, but what can you do.
Anyways if the idea of an Exorcist TV show sounds appealing to you, go read that book instead, it's a much more interesting treatment of the subject.

I may actually watch Kevin Jame's sitcom tonight out of morbid curiosity how they kill of his wife, replace her with his wife from the other sitcom and keep it "funny"

I'm not saying that anyone in this thread has disparaged it. I'm saying that it should stay thoroughly un-disparaged.

This seems to be basically what I'm looking for, yes, thank you. Only on Hulu, from what I can see, unfortunately.

I kinda feel like the best moment in Supernatural was this:

except i guess the headlines are all way too dadaist now. half your episodes would have to be about nazis who love video games
Let's Play Final Fantasy 'II' (Ch10 - 5/17/10)
the documentary is fantastically well done of course but god everything about the vietnam war was terrible and its hard to watch
and in addition to Ken Jeong having a small role in an episode, Wyatt Cenac was an extra right behind him
stuff like this is like finding an extra toy in your cracker jacks
Not too sure about that one yet, but I'll give it a shot?

I'm really hoping he turns up to fix the cliffhanger from last season

No. It is obtainable through Disney XD or by purchasing the episodes on Amazon streaming.

I'll do both by gum!
I still like the exorcist show though.

This is so dumb that it just might work.
do not get tricked by news of once upon a time sounding interesting. it's always a lie.
I watched the first... 4 seasons? Something like that.
I have no intention of watching any more.
