Took a Tracker to the last boss and it looks like it's in the same vein as dungeon run, in which it's 7 runs that you should probably manage with minimal difficulty, and then a backbreaking finale.

Hey cool thanks Blizzard for giving a heads up on the quest it launches with for folks who would have 3 quests today, I didn't want that 3rd daily quest or anything.

I realized they would probably do that literally half an hour ago so cleared me log and just got the entry quest

I haven't played standard on NA yet so I have even less quest space.
Monster Hunt is tons of fun so far. I just killed a boss with a 23-attack windfury lifesteal weapon, and another boss by throwing 50 rocks at their face on turn one.
Ahahaha holy crap, I just won my first Tracker run so hard.
My relics were a cult that reduced my hero power's cost to 1 and let it be cast twice per turn, and a pendant that doubled my starting life. So I had plenty of time to just build up an infinite supply of whatever the best spell in that particular match was.
Early battle against a guy who needs the board to do anything? Infinite Backstabs. Lady who's whole schtick is perpetually filling her board with wisps? Infinite Fan of Knives. And, for the rogue who has everything, infinite Sinister Strikes and Eviscerates to finish anyone off. Sometimes under Malygos, because why not.
The final boss was Captain Shivers, who has a Kingsbane deck. His first spell was Deadly Poison, and I had no good early plays, so I stole it a bunch. Then he played Fel Reaver on two consecutive turns. So I cast Deadly Poison on my Glaivezooka five times and burned his entire deck in one turn. I was gonna let one of them live long enough to burn his 5-attack Kingsbane too but he had Bonemerang in his hand to refresh the durability so I couldn't do that. Instead I just buffed an Assassin's Blade to 15 attack and stabbed him to death.
Finally beat dungeon run on warrior. Such a horrible class for this mode. I had to cheese through the final boss with Potion of Vitality + Rod of Roasting. Would have lost too, but I was lucky enough to also have Wish to heal me to full (boss wiped the board the next turn so minions were useless).
On my first Monster Hunter run with Toki. She is lots of fun to play. I got the treasure that casts the first spell a second time with random targets. Lots of good synergy with casino mage. Also have to Time Walk quest. Getting two free turns for that is bonkers.
Well, I finished up my semi-regular tour of other competitive Android games to see if anything could distract me from Hearthstone. As per usual, that would be a big negative, Ghost Rider, get your ass back on the ladder.
I'm kinda super disappointed that some of the treasure cards in Monster Hunt aren't cards they released in this set. Looking forward to seeing a full list of them.

I just echoed my big boss in two turn with Deadly Strike. (1) deal 3 damage.

Are there any reasonably priced tablets that can actually run Hearthstone well? I got an Amazon Fire 7 last year when they were going for 30 bucks because I figured I might as well have a tablet around for that price, but Hearthstone runs like absolute dogshit on it. I had to put a MicroSD card on it just to get the fat fucking game to install on the tiny internal memory, and even then it was a struggle to get it to realize it had enough storage to install it. When it finally did, it turns out it runs horribly. Really slow to load, menu transitions take forever, tons of hitching in game.
I'm just curious if there's a tablet out there I could buy that would run the game smoothly without spending $200+.
Long time ago I used to play with it on my Note 8.0 tablet and it ran fine on it. I would assume that it should run decently on the newer Samsung tablets, but not 100% positive since I have not used an Android tablet in ages. At one point I was playing HS on a cheap HP windows Atom processor tablet that cost around $90 and I have not gone back to Android tablets since (I currently play it on a Surface Pro when I don't use my phone). If you are not bound to an Android tablet you can look at a Windows one.
I've never used a Windows mobile device but I guess I'd be open to it since I've used Windows PCs forever.
They are awesome, but make sure you use Win 10 in tablet mode if you have one without a keyboard to have the on screen keyboard pop up. Just bare in mind they don't have a swipe style keyboard so it is hunt and peck. The stupid cheap HP Stream tablet made me love HS on a tablet, plus some old Dos games. Which led me to spend more for a Surface device.

Not sure how much better the 10 incher is compared to the 7/8 since they all run MediaTek processors. I'd assume that it would be better than the 8", but I don't know. The old one running a snapdragon chip was much better.

it's so demoralizing to generally make it to the 7th or 8th boss, then have to start over just to get smorc'd by a round 2 candlebeard
i literally lost to the first boss as warrior because all my burn was at the bottom of my 10 card deck
no FWA, no heroic strike, nothing
...
lost to the first fucking boss
the FIRST

Got in once and then it crashed. Woo.
Is there a single thing that interacts with it other than that ONE card you start with???
Yes. I don't remember the exact cards, but there are at least a couple other interactions.
aren't they cards
I feel like they try pretty hard not to overlap skins and cards
i don't think they try very hard at all!

Report is up! I'd make some comments but it's awkward to read on mobile.
Freakin' peddling crack here I tells ya.
They do! It's why one of their first alt heroes was an existing card. :P
