All the starting characters except the Marine in Enter the Gungeon seem... quite bad
The crossbow is fine?
Also, the pilot's gun is on par with the other starting guns, while his abilities are the best by far for starting strong and snowballing into a relatively easy midgame
The pilot's gun is horrendously inaccurate and short ranged. One of the others is way worse though.
The cheaper prices and inventory space are good, but the lockpick has literally never worked and you can't open a lock with a key if you tried to pick it, which seems v poor
It's been a while but, IIRC, you often have 1-2 chests on a floor that you can't possibly afford, and so you have nothing to lose by trying to pick them?
The pilot's gun is one of the weaker starting guns, yeah, but honestly they're all fine for the first ~2 levels once you're used to the mechanics, and are all basically garbage after that point
Which is why the pilot's macro skills are so valuable, and which is why the marine is, I think, actually one of the weakest characters -- his kit makes the easiest levels a bit easier, and then is pretty unuseful for the rest of the game

I made a game! Hotline Maui. Requires mouse and keyboard.
1) came over randomly, unannounced. roommates let him in. he sees we have a dog. plays with the dog. says nothing else about the dog. leaves. sends us a written notice that we needed a pet deposit for the dog and as such we had been fined like $500. i had paid the pet deposit well before moving in. had to go to the bank and get the check receipt as proof before the fine got dropped.
2) one of his subordinates came over for something, i forget what. on the way out they backed into part of the fence, damaging it. we got charged for the damages. had it successfully removed but still.
3) on move out we got nickled and dimed to the point where more than half our security deposit was gone. $10 per lightbulb that needed to be replaced, $100 for new air filters, etc.
4) dropping the rent off before the 5th would still ding us with a late rent fee if they didn't see it until after the 5th. i.e. if Saturday is the 4th, Sunday the 5th, I can't drop rent off after close of business on Friday or it will be considered late by the time they see it Monday morning. same thing for holidays, or if the office staff is on vacation or left early for the day, or anything else really.
There's a reason why most states have a law against #4 too.
"On or before the 5th, unless it's a holiday or weekend and then it's ASAP" is how most states have it now.
not a doctor, not a lawyer, examples I use may not be fully researched so don't take out of context plz, don't @ me
Castle Rock is out on Hulu! We watched the first episode and I love it, it just drips stephen king. There are two more eps out we haven't touched yet, definitely gonna watch more of it.

Premature to ask, maybe, but serialized or episodic spooky?
life's a game that you're bound to lose / like using a hammer to pound in screws
fuck up once and you break your thumb / if you're happy at all then you're god damn dumb
that's right we're on a fucked up cruise / God is dead but at least we have booze
bad things happen, no one knows why / the sun burns out and everyone dies

Though I have no experience with security deposits because effective renter protection laws
we had 10 people living there and paying over the summer
any portion of the rent being late meant we got hit with the fee
and it was all by check and no one was rich or willing to cover the whole rent and get it reimbursed
I lived with two roommates in college one year, we would each throw in a check for our portion and mail it off.
We had been doing this for months. One month somehow one check didn't get in the envelope. Instead of calling us or mailing something or communicating in any way, one day we had a 72 hour notice slapped on our front door for nonpayment
Fuck landlords in college towns.

It's definitely a serialized show, not a different story each time kinda thing. The first ep set up a lot of stuff but provided zero answers, as a first ep would do.

This is the space program I support.
The rest of those are a pain in the butt though

Also if we didn't need food or water and never pooped
Should Geth pick me, I bequeath my chat to some random person.

By this Echo means me
It's me
This happened to me once!
I had to remove my battery, reboot it plugged into the wall, then put my battery back in
It had something to do with a rare electrical relay you could trigger through some specific set of circumstances
Here is a related article w/ instructions!
How?
It's a surface, you can't that I'm aware of

I mean probably a lot of people on this forum
but me in particular, is what I'm getting at

Bogart, listen, by an archaic definition of the word, they are technically correct! The best kind of correct!
Wait did I say best
I meant worst :P

Spooky skeleton is a cute girl.
All I'm saying is I pay my rent on the first of the month and don't associate with reprobates who do not do so! :surprised:
