    I did not buy that hat (because it was $100)

    But later I did buy another, cheaper, equally detectivisty hat with which I have already solved several mysteries (like the mystery of which pocket I put my passport in). Have to try and photo it with the coat.

    I had to shave my beard for my Halloween costume. It had been over 4 years since I had last been clean shaving. Now I'm willing my beard to grow back faster. It should be long enough to get trimmed up by Thanksgiving.

    @Straightzi aghh sorry I effed up on Sunday night! I ended up visiting with my grandmother til 7:30 out in Naperville and then when I got back to Ravenswood we just got dinner and went to bed. But I forgot to send you a message about it. Soooorrrryy!

    In other news I needed to replace a pair of suede wedges that were literally falling apart and have already been repaired twice, and I needed a pair of black boots, and I ended up hating everything at three different stores

    I booked that appointment Friday. With the headshave and line up and trim of my beard it'll be like 55 from my mom. So good gift from her.

    It seems expensive but ya know. Dude does the whole thing with a straight razor?

    For casual button downs I'd recommend checking out Untuckit

    They even have some visual size comparisons on a bunch of different body types so people can get a sense of how a shirt will fit on them.

    I purchased two shirts from them, on sale, for like 60% of the full price.

    Those two shirts are two of my favorites, they seem to be of a good quality, and they fit really nicely.
