Ugh people are stupid and annoying - every time the voice chat or Harris mention the next goal, the chat gets spammed with "ZOMG READ HOMESTUCK!!".
it's unreadable garbage in hbomberguy's stream but at least it's transfriendly unreadable garbage
and the homestuck talk has escaped chat and entered the discord so you can't escape it I guess
I wanted to dig deeper and search out the author who wrote this book online, mostly see if they had a twitter or some kind of online presence so I could hawk it an wait for a response.

Turns out, Wiliam W. Johnstone died in 2004 and this was written by his niece using her uncle's name as a headliner. (A practice I always found ghoulish. I feel the same way about Tom Clancy novels too.) His/Her twitter is just a product feed so oh well...

Yep, it's nearly at $170k and still climbing steadily, and that's not including twitch bits or subscription money which HBG has already stated he will donate as well, and there's a paypal which people have been donating to also.
Man these youtubers are such amateurs when it comes to charities. What you're supposed to do is set up your own non-profit, make yourself ceo, then skim off huge portions of it for administration fees. You can list a bunch of your friends as employees to make it look more legit on paper.
