I have a phone interview for loan document specialist on Monday at wells fargo and a phone interview on Tuesday for a cargo disposition coordinator position with swift.
I also got an email to setup a phone interview for a teller position with wells fargo at a branch that did not hire me about 8 months ago. Would it look bad to setup that teller phone interview as well? Kinda want to get as much as I can going right now.

People applying for multiple jobs in the same organization might make you a slightly less desirable candidate, assuming their HR software lets the hiring manager see that you've applied for multiple jobs in their organization. However, applying for two different jobs is so reasonable that it won't be more than a blip on the radar of all but the shittiest hiring managers, and the increased odds of an interview are overwhelmingly worth it in this case.
In my experience on hiring committees, it only starts to hurt you if you've applied for more than four or five positions of varying responsibility and pay. If you want to eliminate even this slight debuff, tailor your cover letter to make it clear that you're interested in this job rather than any job.
I need to take another WorkKeys test which suuuuucks.
Well, I don't need to but it would help. Its basically a work assessment test to show your competency in math, work documents and general readery I guess and some employers here require one with a certain score when submitting a resume.
I actually took one three years ago when I applied for my current job but lost the results like a chump. Theres no database for these things so I have to take it again and pay a $56 fee. I'm not looking forward to it because I'm vvvvvv bad at math. Like, I have math anxiety or something and don't ever use anything more complex than basic multiplication in my day to day so I don't remember shit from school. I somehow lucked into an almost perfect score the first time and I have no idea if I can do it again. Luckily they have practice exams I can take. Plus, even if it's not required I can still slap it on a CV for extra points.
I'm definitely looking for new jobs. My current work place feels like its falling apart at the moment. Spoilers for long ish rant.
I've been in this new department for about 5 months now. After coming down "off the Hill" as they call it it's been kind of a culture shock. For being the same company, on the same campus it's basically a completely separate entity in they way things operate. We're a lot smaller and so we're a little more autonomous in how we go about making our product.
Anyway, over Christmas they implemented several new, much larger machines that they had been planning to put in for I don't know how many years now, expecting to be able to drop down to two man crews and still make or exceed production numbers despite the many protestations of the actual employees who told them it would not work.
Spoiler
It's not working.
And management is freaking the fuck out. Its not inspiring confidence and making for a very tumultuous work environment. Plus there was recently drama with a lot of people getting passed up for a newly created position who really should have gotten it over the person they gave it to. So now a solid 45% of our small team are pissed off and most likely looking to jump ship and management is... not handling it well. If what I've heard from some of my other coworkers is accurate there have been shouting matches. So if people start deucing out that would leave me, the new guy, right in the shit.
This plant is the biggest one in the state I believe. We employ close to 1,500 people and more or less make up the backbone of the local economy. No hyperbole. The rumblings seem to indicate that things aren't going great for anybody at the moment. A new medical equipment production facility is being built right down the road with supposedly much better benefits and there's already been a meeting between my company and the new one basically saying "look, if you hire too many of our employees we could go under and the economy here would shit a brick. Please only take x number of our workers." We lost the head of our personnel department to them already and they aren't even up and running. Ill omens.

Annual evaluations just came around. I got a really positive evaluation and a 2.5% raise, out of a possible 3%.
It was kind of a pleasant surprise, given my recent non-promotion. I mean, I've always gotten good evaluations, and I know that the dude who got promoted instead of me didn't beat me by all that much. But I think I've been underestimating how much that swing-and-a-miss has been hurting my self-confidence.
It feels really good to hear that the library system still thinks I'm a good branch manager. Intellectually, I know that I'm more of an asset to the system than I was when I first got promoted to manage Honest Jedoc's Down-Home Bookateria five years ago, but it's nice to have that reinforced in a material way.

Apparently I taunted the gods of effective medical intervention by ranting about pseudoephedrine yesterday. My sinuses are absolutely miserable today and I'm bailed up on the sofa while Jen pops out to do the weekend chores that are usually my responsibility. Ugh.

Yeah I have. Problem is this town is major butts and there is nothing here. It's a black hole of small town bullshit. I really want to relocate but the problem I'm running into is the only thing I have any real qualifications for is manufacturing but very few of the other manufacturers in the areas I want to move to pay what I'm making now. I would need to be married or something to afford the cost of living raises while taking a pay cut.
So I dunno. Not a lot of great employment options for me.

I tried to go in to work today! Somebody parked up right on my front fender (didn't hit it), so I have space to back up and angle out, but it's like an inch of ice under my wheels, and I can't get traction to move more than a couple of inches without having to rev up high enough that if the tires caught, I'd slam right into the car behind me.

Also I sliced deep into the side of my left pointer finger at the bottom knuckle last night making dinner and there's nowhere in walking distance to go to for stitches so I've got it sealed up with nu-skin and bandaged.
I'm sure I can get @TheStig to agree with the use of superglue as a home aid and temporary hack for stitches.
sorta
Dermabond is basically superglue, though a little different and sterile. They actually close up big incisions with it now. My wife had her c-section closed with dermabond (and internal sutures).
Got my big interview tomorrow. Ironed my shirt, got a nice clean "power tie" (its purple and my shirt is black I just like how it looks buts I've been told this is a power combo), and am studying up on possible questions they might ask.

Snow in Portland was not at all the end of the world they were predicting but I think it’s still supposed to get shitty again overnight here.
If commute looks bad tomorrow morning I think I can at least start working from home and maybe go in later if things clear up.
I’ll be surprised if school isn’t at least delayed tomorrow.

The person blocking me in on the ice finally pulled out, so I ran out and pulled my car forward enough that anyone parks in front me now they'll be blocking an intersection. Now here's hoping nobody hits me trying to pull into the empty space I just created.
Edit: the point of doing this is that I should be able to drive to work in the morning now.
The weather has been nice here. I just checked the weather forecast, and it looks like Tuesday is some snow/ sleet.
On the one hand, if it snows a lot, I usually get paid snow days.
On the other hand, Tuesday is my one paid holiday off that the kids have school for. So if it does snow more than forecast,I just lost that one free day.
Last year I went to a movie. This year I was hoping to go shopping.
If that's all there is my friends, then let's keep dancing

My understanding is that it will mostly be rain overnight (some snow before too long now), and rain above freezing, so hopefully a lot of the snow and ice will get melted away.

I just went outside to check on my car and saw a prius stuck in the snow at the bottom of the street with their hazards on. I jumped back inside, put on my work shoes that have way better grip, started marching over to the prius to offer to help push them out, but I guess the site of me all bundled up in hoodie, scarf, hat and wool coat coming at them spooked them because they gunned it, spun around and took off on the main road that SDOT just plowed.
Current snow status motivated me to grab expensive jam on client site rather than *maybe* having enough safe streets to make it the store and back home

The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind.

Don't use regular super glue though, it irritates the tissue and isn't sterile.
Differences explained here:

pro tip: to get superglue/dermabond off your skin rub it with some petroleum jelly, like Vaseline, neosporin, or bacitracin ointments
