A spherical frictionless snake would be easy to fight. Assuming it’s a hugging-to-death snake it can’t hug you because it’s a ball. If it’s a venomous snake then chances are greater that the fangs are not on the side coming toward you, and it will be unable to turn around easily given that it has no friction to use for mechanically turning itself. If it’s the third kind of snake, the one that farts cyanide then it’s still pretty dangerous though.

Man.
As my mind turns towards building a new PC this year, I go into the PC Build thread and see posts about $800 3d cards and $2000 rigs. I want to build something future proofed and powerful for once, but that's... oof.

The 2060 Super is a hell of a card.
So is the 1660 Super (better value, not so future proof...)

It's been over 10 years since I built a PC, so I haven't been paying attention. >.<

It's ridiculous. The $1k graphics cards used to be such an outlier. Now not so much.
Although I will say I see no reason to upgrade from my 1080. It was just under a grand, yes, and probably not worth it really, but so far I haven't run into anything it's not way overpowered for.
That said, all I play these days is Oxygen Not Included, so.....

Listen wait till the later half of this year to see how Nvidia and AMD launch cards.
nothing now is worth the money, what you could do is if you have a video card that still works is build the rest out but wait for the new GPU

For some reason I have decided I'd really like to get into fighting games.
I've been in the lab working out with 2B in Soul Calibur. Lot of fun to play around with, even won a few casual matches.
I think I'll order an ethernet cable for the PS4 and get destroyed in ranked pretty soon here.

Yeah. I need to save money anyways, as it's part of my 2 goals for the year, but I also kind of want to know what to aim for.
All I keep hearing about is Ray Tracing and maybe another major jump coming.

I guess I'm just sitting here thinking about how much I need to make up my budget and stick to it... and clean my apartment.. but I'm just watching GDQ anyways.

I just wanna play Doom 2016 and Control.
Ideally if you want a setup good enough for next gen stuff you want at least 16 GB RAM and a Ryzen 5 3600
video card you want at least a 2070 but id wait until Nvidia and AMD launch new stuff especially Nvidia since there are some silly numbers being tossed around.
Actually id also wait to see how much RAM the new consoles have

I went with an M.2 SSD and 32 GB of RAM for my current computer because why not.
Eventually I'll replace the 1080. Maybe this next gen coming later this year.

Edit: KoF 13... Mad Max... Seriously. When did I get all these games?!
It's called upgrading to Catalina. Yeah I know gaming on a mac, but losing the ability to play 228 of my games sucks.
