This UFO game is wonderful and I'm really enjoying these videos.

Why do they keep uploading the Danganropa episodes out of order
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
Maybe not numbering them is confusing to them as well as us.
If only there were a simple solution to this problem. IF ONLY!
I wasn't a huge fan of the previous Among Us episodes, but the new one is pretty great. Our boy Dan has come a long way.

It is kind of sad that they need a walkthrough for Danganronpa already. Hina straight up says to search the 2nd floor and they give up on that after one room.

Honestly, when any LPer or streamer quickly resorts to a walkthrough, that tells me they aren't enjoying the game and are just playing it for the views. Which... sucks. If they can't be bothered to try and figure it out, it's not fun. They may as well just watch someone else's playthrough and comment over it.
Alternatively, the vast majority of their viewers deluge them with angry comments if they were to spend a 40 minute episode carefully solving puzzles or trying things with trial and error like a normal player of the game would do. They've been at this a long time and the drama of wasted Zelda episodes was extremely real. It doesn't mean they don't like it, it means they need to progress at a regular rate or the views will divebomb.

Yea, I feel like they are pretty invested in the game and the characters. Mostly my thing is just they were told to go to the 2nd floor and then after going into the library and one classroom they immediately go back to the first floor with the dorms and then the first floor hallway. It is a very game grumps thing to do so I'm not bothered by it.

I like when they consult the walk through when they get stuck but following it the entire way is kind of lame. But this is also the game grumps... We know Arin is going to miss something completely obvious. And he really cares about how the comments respond to him.
Yeah that's his shtick. Sometimes it's funny and sometimes it's grating. He seems like a good guy off camera though.

I watch his twitch all the time and he seems downright wholesome. I never saw much of any trolling during his among us games but I haven’t seen any for a while.
Though how do you troll in among us? Pretty much almost anything you do can be considered a part of the game.
I saw that Ross finally uploaded another Mario Maker 2 level and went to check out the vid of the design. He said his final collab build will be with Dan. That should be super interesting. I absolutely wonder what kind of Mario level Dan would come up with.
It doesn't always work in his favor though, by the last couple of rounds of the "Getting bloody BUGGERED" video (why can't we just have episode numbers back?) pretty much everyone has figured out that its really easy to tell when he's the Imposter.
One of my favorite lines was from Arin after tossing Ross into the lava; "We got rid of the menace... whether or not he was the murderer."

Oh if he was literally trolling Arin then that is new.
Honestly sounds like he is either putting on an act for an obvious grumps episode, or it’s some kind of internal rivalry that I think he legit does have with Arin. The kind of thing you would do to your friend because you know them well enough.
However I was going to mention that Ross has always been super freaking obvious when he is imposter. He just doesn’t seem to have the ability of I come up with anything when called out. If he’s not the imposter he sounds confident when defending himself, but when he is he always seems to get tongue tied. Where one of the guys he regularly plays with named Weegee seems to be able to talk his way out of anything even though is also super obvious because he just talks a lot more when he is the imposter.

I don't blame Ross, Arin was trolling first. The whole round was basically one big joke but Arin knew Suzy was the imposter the entire time. Pretty sure everyone knew and they all actively did nothing about it.

If you're the imposter the last thing you want to do is talk a lot. If I recall, someone actually did some serious data analysis on a bunch of games of Among Us, and the players who talk the most are always viewed as more suspicious, presumably because if you're talking you're being noticed and if you're the imposter you want to not be noticed. But Ross can't help himself trying to be the 1000 IQ puppetmaster, which in fairness feels amazing when you actually pull it off.

Well Weegee usually aimed to talk over everyone in order to prevent them from being able to agree on a vote and to steer conversations away from things. It worked way more than it should too.
I haven’t watched Ross’ among us in a while because they were doing the vr version and that was significantly less interesting to me. But he never used to be the high iq play imposter type. He usually kept quiet and wasn’t convincing when he did talk.

Well, the boys have handled this ‘twist’ about as respectful as they could given the circumstances I guess

I burned through all three games thanks to the Grumps, and they're all good, but I don't think I'd want to see them do more than the first game any time soon. It'd be too much. I'd encourage other people to play them if they're interested, though, after this series is done. Games 2 and 3 definitely fall into the "more of the same" category of sequels, but they both have good cases and twists, so that's really all that matters. They do suffer from having too many one-note characters, but there's enough exceptions that I still like each cast overall.
Admittedly I found myself skipping a lot of Monokuma-related dialogue after the first game, though. It just got annoying after a while.
I really want them to play Mega Man Legends some day.

Also yeah never read the comments.

So to update on the Ross and Mario Maker stuff I have mentioned here a few times. Ross finished his world. Which means I believe Arin will be playing it soon and then some GG vids of this will be coming.
The great thing is though that Ross did the final level as a collab with Dan. It is on his stream as I think it went down yesterday. It is a really nice kind of throwback to the old days to have Ross and Dan doing something together. Feels good. Real good.
I wonder how in the hell Arin will complete this world in a reasonable number of GG episodes. It might not be finished without edits or supercuts. Or at all. Or it could become the longest video series they ever did. But I look forward to it so, so much. Ross put a FUCKTON of work into those levels. I think well over 2000 hours.
Yeah I'm really excited for the Ross levels. Any idea if they are almost done with Danganropa or whatever?
The game has a bit of a ways to go. Also, we're probably getting into episodes they've recorded to fill the Christmas-vacation weeks.
On the topic of the Ross levels it sounds like his project during the pandemic was making multiple worlds, not just the one he finished last night. But yeah he talked about how soon Arin and Dan will go through them, along with some other streamers / LPers he know.

He made a whole world, which is multiple sets of levels also in uhh, worlds. But they call the collections worlds too. He made 40 levels which is the max (8 worlds of 5 levels each)
I’m excited to see others experience in his world too, but this is going to be a good old Arin, Dan, and Ross style set of videos and I miss those.
Like I have been watching the streams of Ross making levels for months, and it was just blatantly obvious there was a much higher level of excitement in his voice talking with Dan while making that level. He was definitely happy to kind of go back to old times.
I think I saw that the videos will show up in January so they're likely done filming for the year or they have a bunch lined up. I can wait as long as I need to. They are going to be fun.
Thanks for the heads up guys. I know nothing about the game and figured it was about as short as the other visual novel/Phoenix Wright games they played.
Having played through the games recently, I can say that the first Danganronpa game took me about 20 hours to finish. It didn't strike me as particularly long, really. The second game was a bit longer and the third game was a longer than that. But since the Grumps have to read everything out and pause for jokes and stuff, they're naturally going to go substantially slower.
On one of his Shuffle Master streams Arin shared his opinion that Danganronpa is terrible, a horrible game, but it's also really funny and fun for the channel. So he's having fun with it but from the perspective that a lot of the fun is how awful it is.
Which is honestly unsurprising. It's worse than Phoenix Wright in some of its horseshit logic paths.

Between Among Us and Phasmaphobia, he's been fairly active with the Grumps lately. I'm wondering what Brian's been up to.
You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

In fairness to the game, while it definitely has its convolutions and leaps of logic, a lot of the problems Arin specifically seems to have with the writing have a lot more to do with him never paying attention or remembering anything.

They certainly handled it better than the characters in game did
Looking forward to chapter 3. It has been a long time since I've played but I think chapter 3 is the really interesting one.
I really kind of just want to marathon Danganronpa 1, 2, and 3. I've never beaten 2 and 3.

No.
Honestly I’d love to see them go through the core three. It’s a hell of a ride.
