i do however think i hate black jeans

there's something about the dye that makes the denim like extra thick?

i dunno maybe it's just this pair but they're bad. i might try to just distress the fuck out of them so they're softer

My dad told me a local city is hiring a position more or less in my field, with a pay scale that ranges between $5,000 increase and like, $20,000 increase. I am trying really hard not to get my hopes up to high, especially since I already get anxious thinking about interviewing...

I'm waiting on a phone call from the healthcare provider that will ostensibly be taking me on as a patient for gender stuff. This is like their initial patient screening call or something? Hopefully they don't think I'm not trans enough ololol

Welp I have an appointment on Monday to start HRT. It's through UCLA Health, which has a gender health, uh....group? Organization? Whatever, it's all about informed consent and consolidating all your health needs in one area to relate it to your gender health stuff.

Also I almost started crying on the phone when he called me by my lady name. It's the first time I've had a conversation with someone in an official capacity (like, not a friend or family member) where they used that name and female pronouns for me. It was a little overwhelming (in a good way).

If you as a medical professional run a test that shows a specific deficiency that's a real thing but there's no evidence that taking vitamins proactively actually does anything. But practically every old person takes a multivitamin because marketing I guess

isnt the main thing with the supplements is that they're like 10,000% DV so its a complete waste because even if your body could absorb all of it it'd probably kill you
i think a regular multivitamin is probably good for you if you're a lazy lizard who just eats cheesy gordita crunches for every meal

It is extremely chill assuming you don't have any of the particular phobias it can trigger:
deep water, agoraphobia, timer anxiety, existential dread regarding cosmic events, etc.

Day9 friggin' loved it and then stopped playing it on a dime.

This is what happened to me. There's the water planet which got me on my thalassophobia, and also another planet that mega-triggered my thalassophobia even worse despite not having any water (y'all who played the game know which one).

So I'll just never finish it, which sucks.

have you heard about the use of beta blockers to treat phobias?

    https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/12/151209091222.htm

although hmm that might be a bit harder to treat than spiders...

to follow up I heard an interview with a woman who screamed in terror upon seeing a spider in a cage, they gave her beta blockers and exposed her again and she was essentially cured

she remarked a spider fell on her in her car and that would have caused her to crash before. instead she was merely grossed out

    holy shit

can do this for, like, my 'fear' of doing my work right now instead of putting it off?

I started a new game of Conan on Xbox because some friends wanted to try it, and couldn’t find the endowment slider. This turns out to be because of the ESRB.

The way to workaround this (on Xbox, I don’t know how this is on the PS) is to set your region to the UK, restart the console, boot up the game and download the free full-nudity DLC.

    I protest.
