didn't she just break up with her bf? seems like it'd probably stem from that

    Well

They’ve been broken up since like November it just took a million years for them to decide to move away from each other

But yes I’m sure that’s a big part of it

Also has this but it's not super bad looking. He had a handlebar mustache for years.

To be fair to avatar I don't think the cg looks especially bad. It doesn't look a fraction as good as the new Unreal Engine 5 stuff, but it doesn't look worse than recent Marvel movies or anything.

It's really the visual design and art direction that makes it look like the box cover for a Radeon.

He called him a pedo guy and then hired a detective to investigate his "nefarious activities", using the fake info the PI gave him as evidence when calling him a child rapist later on. This is not the behaviour of someone just using "pedo guy" as a generic insult, which was Musk's defence, it's the behaviour of a guy trying to make the charge of "pedo guy" stick as accurate, thus invalidating his defence. Or it should have invalidated his defence, but hey ho the billionaire wins.

I suppose the other part is that in addition to hiring a questionable private investigator musk did double down on the statement at some length

Like, he posted a whole stream of tweets about how he thought a retired older white guy spending a lot of time in East Asian countries was pretty suspicious

It seems odd that you can argue that your accusation supported by a detailed documentation of your rationale for making it is an off the cuff remark

Much like Glee and Game Of Thrones, Avatar was a normie fever dream that I am surprised to see revived. Usually lightning in a bottle shows are once and only once. But I always forget that James Cameron movies are kind of like Dick Wolf shows or Chuck Lorre shows in that they for an unintuitive reason just really resonate with the masses. Which isn't bad!

Its amazing how much of the current young people dress feels like it has fallen out of the late 80's/early 90's.

I am waiting on parachute pants to show back up.

Glee was great the first three seasons.

Wife turned me on to SMASH! after it had ended, and now we watch both seasons during the Christmas holiday as a little tradition.

We also watch Over the Garden Wall for Halloween

It's so weird when the guy that was behind Nip Tuck and The Shield (Ryan Murphy) ends up being a producer on something like Glee, but you can see the inspiration there.

Either carrots come in tiny bags in the UK or somehow you've discovered nearly free carrots.

Yes for just five pounds you can feed a family of four...

...1 small serving of mince, mixed with the likely absolute worst peas and carrots, with a slice of bread.

clearly world hunger is solved. What's next?

Carrots are one of the very cheapest staple crops here

It's not uncommon to grow them as winter forage crops because it's vastly cheaper than animal feed

I used to eat the food served to inmates when I was a corrections officer and it was pretty rough, and depressing to eat.

It was free though, I guess aside from taxes.

In Alabama in 2005 we fed inmates for $1.10 (give or take a nickel) a day.

I think a lot of people don't appreciate how visceral the experience of energy prices is if you're living in poverty

I remember the experience of being stuck with a prepayment meter and thus being able to see the balance tick down in real time

You're living on a different planet of carrots from me. A planet with different types of carrots instead of just "carrot".

We've lost the art of carrots and shamed our ancestors.
