I wish I could resize photos directly on my iPhone rather than downscaling them on my home computer. My balcony garden is popping off, my peppers and tomatoes especially, but everything I’ve got right now would violate image size limits.
There are some free re-size apps out there that work decently enough.
Oh man, this King's Quest playthrough by Brian and Danny was exactly what I needed. It has such different energy than when Arin's on.
Just, very chill, very relaxed vibes. And Brian is SUPER INTO solving the puzzles and is so earnest about it that it sustains me.
I hope they do more adventure games with these two.
Way better than the Gabriel Knight series already.
What was wrong with the Gabriel Knight playthrough? I thought it was pretty entertaining.
Anyway, today I learned that not only is Danny on a quest to visit all Stegosaurus skeletons, he has a website chronicling it!
In my opinion having Brian there made it immensely more enjoyable experience. I dunno. Hearing them bounce jokes off each other and talk was a great experience. Gabriel Knight playthrough only lasted about 15 minutes for me.
I do hope we get the others. Mythra and Sephiroth especially.
On that, I'm a bit surprised they didn't do any amiibos for the new Xenoblade.

I'm kind of flummoxed what the problem could be. I can watch other videos on YouTube just fine, so it's not a connection, memory, or driver problem right? I'm using the latest Firefox, on a Windows PC. I've tried disabling all my add-ons and that didn't resolve it. These two never display the "you need to get the right codec" error message either. They just hang with the loading circle spinning forever. I've tried closing the tab, closing the browser, and then reopening. I've even gone back to them after I'd restarted the PC for something else, still won't play. Here's links to the two videos in question: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lmyd9LTkpfk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zRuKfIn72E
Those both play for me, but the other day I had a video that refused to play no matter what I did in the exact way you're describing, and seemed to have vanished from the uploader's channel upload list as well. I checked it again a few days later and it worked fine. Mysteries.

Hah, and now that I've actually asked about it, the problem went away all on its own. Nice to finally get to hear that song. The DBZ fan video was a disappointment, unfortunately. Strangely, the fan video still doesn't play when I go to YouTube, but does play embedded here. The "Wolf Like Me" cover is behaving normally though.
Still weird that they would not play for quite a while, no matter what I did. At least I'm not the only one experiencing it.
I think youtube has been having a few issues lately, as I have also had issues with a few videos.
Strangely it sometimes helped using the "Play" button down to the left, the one next to the other controls, while the big red play button shown in the center of the video did not work. No idea why, maybe it was just that it resulted in a new attempt and it was then luck.

The "play these characters to get this other skin" event was weird, but it did make me play other characters.
Friendship ended with Sylveon. Now Mammoswine is my best friend.
Today we're on an East bay bike trail bubble tea and dumpling crawl, which means that every 20km we stop and buy either some bubble tea or some dumplings
Tbh it feels like this was only a good idea for the first 40km but let's see what the 60km mark brings, maybe I'll be hungry again by then.
They just had a thing where they showed off the desert biome on livestream, including the tools they use to make terrain. It looks like the new unreal tools are working fine, or at least the ones they showed in the livestream.
Last month they also showed melee basic attacks in the combat system, and it looks like they're going for action/hotbar hybrid, which I'm good with. It seems like this might actually be a game, I just wish they'd give a date for the next alpha.
Ok, now for real I should start avoiding this thread (and honestly the Nintendo thread) starting Tuesday night. Gotta stay as blind as possible. Here's hoping my collection of muted words on Twitter can save me.
Pokemon leaks are worse than Marvel leaks with the rampant fakes. Literally last week when I was trying to double check the sword/shield start evolutions this image is *still to this day* a higher search results on GIS than the real ones. (spoiler for large, they're obviously not real)
Don't forget to inspect the tread AND the inside of your tire for the cause of the flat. That flat claimed two tubes because the tiny shard of glass that caused it lodged too deeply into the tread for me to see it from the outside.
I don't use it myself, but know a lot of people who love the OneUp EDC pumps - https://www.oneupcomponents.com/products/edc-pump
Key features are to have both pump and CO2 so you're covered no matter what (pumping with a mini pump sucks real hard, so CO2 is great for a quick refill).

I would be surprised if they even keep making amiibo once the Smash series is done.
Nintendo seems to be getting more careful with new Amiibo releases, but they're still coming. Of course the big question is whether they'll even work with Switch 2 - that'll be the definitive cutoff if it happens.

Why the crap did I ever make my original name "cloudeagle?"
Well we got a new gimmick so I guess mega and dynamax aren't coming back
Seems interesting though, the ability to change typing mid-battle, and it's kind of like natures where 2 pokemon of the same species can have different type changes
I'm kind of leaning towards Violet because the red legendary looks so stupid with its giant wheels it apparently never actually uses for anything!?

Woah. Do we get the legendary early on and actually use it throughout the game?

Thats really cool if so.
I assume we must, maybe it grows in power throughout the game? Gaining flight, swimming etc. and presumably stats, it would be far too strong to have a legendary statted pokemon on your team for the entire game??

Can't wait. The game is looking great. I'm thinking that we probably do get the legendary early on since he is the main mode of travel. Looking forward to running around the world with a friend.
Not sure about the new gimmick, but we'll see. I originally didn't like the look of the dynamaxing, but ended up having a ton of fun with that one.

Not sure yet about how it will be in practice obviously, but I will say that the Terastallizing thing looks super cool. I think I'm more interested in just catching as many as possible and using them with this to see how they look.
Also, flying mounts in Pokemon? Count me in. I wonder if we can just use it anywhere.

Oh also this trailer was the first time I noticed the pixel eyes of the violet legendary.
And it's absolutely perfect.

No word on the rest (Pyra/Mythra, Sepiroth, and Kazuya, or even if we're getting Sora at all).

To be fair, there’s almost a hundred characters in the game from every major publisher in video games.

Maybe, maybe not - we're still getting new Monster Hunter amiibo.

Spotted some old favourite Pokémon of mine in the Scarlet & Violet trailer, so that's neat.

Yeah! I know nothing has been said, but it almost seems like a new type. Digital? Virtual?
A digital monster, you say?
