No. You drop the shot into a glass of beer (Guinness I believe) and chug it.

    O_o

We didn't. At the sushi place I went to it was just a shot of saki chased with beer. Something to do with balancing the shot on chopsticks too but my memory of that night is hazy.

What I always hear about Guinness is that (comparatively) it tastes best in Ireland, good in England, okay in Canada and terrible in the US. I was out drinking with a Brit visitor in Lawrence (KS) many years ago and the evening began when he spat his pint out onto our table and announced, loudly, "what the fuck is this piss?"

You don't get to put the Esq after your name until you pass the bar. You might want to change it on your website because if the board of bar examiners somehow gets wind of it that may be grounds to deny you a license.

Actually I really like Regency romances. Though they're not very chaste.

    Sometimes they involve premarital sex!

No, and Munkus doesn't know how his works because someone else set it up for him

    Bah

I have a bunch of avatars from the P-A game that I wanted to rotate

Spectre: they left me a note that they tried to deliver on Friday and would be back today between 10:30-2. They didn't show. So I called them and gave them the tracking number on the note, and the guy told me that that number was attached to a package that was delivered to a completely different address on Friday!

So I went to Crate and Barrel's site and that led me to a tracking number that says the package is out for delivery - on 6 AM on Friday.

    I am really confused.

All romance novels end with a wedding. It's no a moral thing, though, just a girl thing. I actually feel gypped if the book doesn't end with a lavish description of the ceremony. Though some authors are all unconventional and have the wedding in the middle of the book, and then the girl and the guy finally overcome their emotional barriers and have hot sex at the end.

If you're feeling down because of your breakup that's entirely natural. If you're still feeling down a couple of months from now, then that might not be a bad idea.
