So... purebuttons lost my order. They said they can ship a new set to my hotel in time for PAX. I'll be a little surprised if they're there when i get there. But obviously i wont have pictures of them.

The buttons should be waiting at my hotel room when I get there. Unfortunately that means no trading during the Vancouver Pre-PAX events or bus trip
I`m definitely disappointed by this. To be honest, PureButtons acted like "Oh, yeah, must be lost in Canada customs" when their own tracking number never showed that it arrived at customs....
To be fair, USPS tracking numbers are a complete joke. Often, I'll order something, see the order picked up, then no other updates. Then, two days after I've gotten the package, they'll add that it was delivered.

This is absolute truth. The USPS tracking system is terrible, and I doubt they would even track if it made it to customs. It's probably just a black hole where stuff ends up stuck forever.
I can't count the number of times that a package I was tracking said that it hadn't even been picked up yet but ended up in my mailbox unexpectedly.

So all the PAX goers on Twitter were making me really jealous with all the updates of "I recieved my buttons yay!" and I decided I wanted buttons to trade too... but wasn't sure if I could get them in time. Well big cheers for finding a local artisan on Etsy.com who can get mine done for pick up in a week, without costing me a fortune or having to trust/wait for USPS!
So here's my design for now, until I can get an actual photo of the final result

I got mine sent to MrB stateside so that I wouldn't have to worry about getting them up here, and then having to bring them back. No point dragging them through customs twice imo. ;-)

Thats what they said to me too.. And the order arrived later that day. So chances are, USPS sucks and will not bother updating your tracking number during the whole trip like they did for me. I think purebuttons is correct when they say it's in customs.
