Granted, FF VI Advance does make it look incomplete.
I'm going to buy it day one, and if I can schedule that Monday off. I love FF VI.

Eh, FFVI Advance is a good, definitive version for me. So I'd pass if it came to VC - I can live without Woolsey's goofy translation and all the censorship :P (not to mention all the freakin' bugs!)
I'm sure I'd buy FFVI if it was released here on VC, even though the GBA version is superior and there's sure to be a 3DS version eventually. But I'll just keep buying it again and again because that's what I do.

That's how I feel.
Hell I don't even like FF IV that much and have over ten versions.
I can't bring myself to play a version without Woolsey. That was my first FF game and I couldn't be able to enjoy a different translation as much, even if it's more accurate.

Huh. Last night a friend asked me if Crystalis was available on VC, and I told him with complete confidence that it is. Looks like I was wrong? I don't see it on the list on Wikipedia.

I always wondered how a character that is essentially a terrorist by definition (or at least a mad bomber [what bombs at midnight, yeah, baby, yeah]) could be made so endearing in the public consciousness.

Well, at least we know how to make the character un-endearing:

I love The Tick references. So many great villians.
Also Konami did that "grim-dark" bomberman? What the hell? I thought hudson owned the franchise? Or was that put there after konami bought them?

How is the act of placing some bombs any worse than shooting a gun, and yet guns are all over endearing characters?
The main dude from Cave Story is no different from Bomberman or Link.

I think you need to look up the definition of definition.
I mean bombs are clearly an acceptable method of combat on his planet, people have left augmentations for them lying all over the place, under every other rock. They have a short blast radius and only fire in perfectly orthogonal lines, are not powerful enough to destroy 50% of any given set of physical material, and are only used to further the forces of good.
And so help me if anyone tries to say "or so we are led to believe" at that last statement then I want a treatise challenging the established morality systems of every other video game ever made.
The only way you could say Bomberman was a terrorist is if the other players 2-4 were playing The Sims and had no idea player 1 was really playing Bomberman.

Would implied terrorist work? Oh, I suppose he could be a demolitions expert where he comes from. But the name Bomberman has taken on a more sinister sound given the situation the world at large is in these days.
Don't know about you, but I hear the words bomber and man together and I think crazy guy who likes to sew discord and cause chaos.

No, because there is nothing terrorist-like about what he does. Link uses bombs as well. So what?
Splosion Man constantly blows himself up, does that make you think of terrorism? I mean, every time I hear the words splosion and man together I think of the horrifying photos that come out of war zones.
Do Bullet Bills from Mario make you uncomfortable? Bullets take a lot of lives each year, and jumping on top of them is not a realistic solution.
Link's name is Link. Not Bomberman. Lots of characters use bombs. Samus uses power bombs--doesn't make me think she's some kind of secret Muslim sleeper cell.
'Splosionman sounds like... I dunno, comical? I hear the word 'splosion and I think action movie. I'm talking about immediate imagery conjured forth on a subconscious level, here.
Also, does Bullet Bill explode? I think not.
That picture is awesome, btw. Looks like a young Peewee Herman.

Heh, me too.
It does; this is the second WiiWare fireplace game. I think we're witnessing the birth of a new genre.
Hopefully it made you look it up in a dictionary, otherwise you'd grow up thinking it's a synonym for fireball. :P

That being said if HM 64 happens I will call the VC a total success.
