    Go play Valkyria chronicles right now. It's shining force mixed with awesome set in a alternate universe version of WWII.

    so I just have to wonder if they are going to have "lock on" for sonic and knuckles. IE you can play "Knuckles in Sonic 2", and "Sonic and Knuckles 3"

    Man, I tried playing it again a few years ago, and I was worse at it than I was when I was a kid. Chameleon.

    Those levels where you have to run from the spike wall of fuck you... paralyzing fear.

    So, favorite helms from the game? I always loved using the knight helm's 50 gem ability to get an extra health point permanently, and then swapping over to something else like the tornado helm. That one was bitchin'.

    The only game (I think Sega Published it) that I wish was on the compilation is Rocket Knight Adventures.

    How does the versions of Phantasy Star in this compare to those on the GBA cart and on VC?

    I doubt there will be significant differences between these and most other console packages.

    Most of the emulated Genesis games that I've played on PS2, Wii, and 360 have noticeable sound issues, though. Nobody seems to be able to emulate the music just right.

    This has PS4 and no save issues with PS1, in regards to the GBA cart. I doubt that there will be any from the VC version besides the filter, which may look decent in this case

    Okay, I've updated the OP with the unlockables & achievements/trophies.

    But seriously, the collection is worth it just for having Phantasy Star 1-4 & the 3 Genesis Shining games. The fact that it includes all that other stuff just pushes it over the edge into must-have ASAP territory.

    This is completely true. Having looked into buying all of these games on carts, this is much better than playing $25 for Shining Force 2 alone

    The fact that this has Dynamite Headdy on it makes it worth the 30 bucks alone. I payed 60 dollars for it back when it came out on Genesis. Best $60 game I've ever bought.

    Really? Cause I bought DH on Wii's Virtual Console and couldn't be bothered to play it more than twice.
    It felt messy and most of all unfun. Unfortunately you can't sell or trade in VC titles :x

    Who knows, maybe I just hate fun, but I don't think this collection will appeal to me, since I already bought most games on it at one point in time.
