Basically its a really cool card game where you spend all your money and keep spending it for forever. The new core set is coming out in a few days. Isn't that cool?
Lets talk about how awesome our decks are. Personally my friends and I don't play by Type 2 rules (basically the current set, base set, and previous set are only the only ones you can use) so we have crazy broken decks with mixes of old cards and new.
So come on gang, lets gather, with Magic.
Everyone loves new sets! Scars of Mirrodin is set to come out the firs of October, and while the majority of the spoilers are coming down in about a week or 2, we have a couple. I get all my info at Gathering Magic.

I am always really bad at TCGs, which is why the raid decks for the WoW TCG are awesome. You can just be the boss and kill your friends!

Then my freshman year of college all the guys in my dorm played it and I spent way too much money on Magic cards. Now I'm getting back into it through guys I work with.
Its a really fun game.

Blue is my most hated color. I have a Red/Blue deck that I like to play but its the only one. Everyone I know who plays a ton of Blue is kind of a douche.

When I used it I lost everything.
My friends and I are going camping in a few weeks. I think I might bring my cards since its not suppose to rain. If my cards got destroyed due to wetness....I think I would die.
My Red/Blue deck is based on The Izzet League from Guildpact. It has a lot of cool instant damage cards and cycling, but the key is their Dragon guy who deals a damage every time you draw a card.
"Oh hey, a 1 mana card that lets me draw a card and I use cycling (1) to cast it 9 more times. I draw 9 cards and you take 9 damage."
I could never do the card game because I'm insane with collecting things and min/maxing decks, and I would have gone broke.

I remember I was at Gary in Pokemon Blue using a Gameboy Color that didn't lock the carts in and I wouldn't take my turn until I beat him. My "buddy" pulled my game out of the machine and it wiped my progress and my pokemons.
From that day on I stopped playing both of those games, grew a beard and impregnated a teacher.
That or I cried like a bitch.
(I really did grow a kick ass beard though.)

Anyways yeah I currently have 3 Standard (Type II) decks and one deck for casual multiplayer games
Best standard deck is my mono green beatdown deck. Overrun, Beastmaster Ascension, and Eldrazi Monument combined with lots of green token generating creatures. Went undefeated last time I ran it at my local standard tournament. I think it's the best deck out of all of my friends decks. More than 50% against my friends fairly good Red Deck Wins. I haven't play tested enough against my friends very good vampire deck, but with my first build of the deck it was 50% exactly. Only played against it once with my current build though.
Will be going to a pre-release this weekend because fuck yeah Suntitan looks awesome.
