one day I'll play FF VII and spend hours trying to get a golden chocobo. It's pretty far down the list, though.
Have to finish up Anachronox, go through Arcanum (maybe), work on the rest of the Dragon Warrior series, then there's about ten Ultima games, a handful in the Baldur's Gate franchise ...

You owe it to yourself to make a super dumb character in Arcanum. Maybe start with a high charm/int character (a woman if you're going to min/max) to play the game proper (ie: with a kazillion followers), but playing a dumb guy is just funny. The whole game changes from a serious affair to a slapstick hack-n-slash-fest.

Also, if you bought it from GOG you get the soundtrack with it, which is quite pleasant, I use it for my "gotta get shit done\blast music\get crackin"-playlist.
Speaking of RPGs, though, I've been going through the beginning of Anachronox and there are quite a few aliens that speak their own language. Does that get translated automatically at some point, or should I continue my efforts to transcribe them?
Today I will be mostly watching Doctor Who and Jason and the Argonauts while putting together my Lego Quinjet and idly fondling the glorious Star Trek ships that came with Fleet Captains.
So I got a book about Vikings, titled the Vikings, by a well known TV archaeologist (that Scottish guy with the long hair that isn't @Japan ). Anyway, he has an extract of Roy's death speech from Bladerunner at the start of chapter 1

It was rainy and dreary and foggy the whole time I was in hospital, so I'm pleased that's done with.
RMS do I take it you have been hospitalised with diabetes?
If so, my commiserations
The hospitalization bit is finished, although I am required to shoot up four times a day now. As well as make sure my potassium levels don't drop again.

Oh dear, well at least you were able to get home for Christmas, that is something.
A guy I work with seems to have a particularly severe form of diabetes and has been off for 5 weeks now

Fleet Captains is a good idea.
Merry Christmas to you and Mrs Bogart.
