I don't understand the hate for the reddit interface
Like it's bad at some things, but since I just use it for long conversations it's way easier to keep track of different conversations going on at the same time compared to say, this place.
Whenever we have more than two discussions going on at the same time it just turns into a car wreck and everyone gets grouchy.

I do not understand how music synchronization in iTunes works
Turning off music synchronization says "this will delete all of the music on your iPhone"
but it doesn't actually do that
and then music syncs but there is music on the iPhone that wasn't in iTunes

I think it says that because a million years ago when iTunes was the only way to get music on the phone, that was the case. You'd uncheck sync and everything would vanish from the phone. Now you can download music directly to the phone or have a whole library on iTunes Match. Music added those ways isn't deleted by iTunes.
When you say don't sync music, it only deletes the music that it had synced earlier. Which could be none of it. It's kind of a mess. Apple should really rethink all that shit asap.

But it's kinda silly imo to not replace the Nexus 5 too. That was a great, fairly cheap for it's specs phone that basically let Google set the standard for what an Android phone should do and look like and as a platform to show off new Android releases. That's something Google should still be all over.
