Only spent $12.00. I actually would have spent more but I didn't pull the trigger early in case some better stuff came up.
Which makes me think Steam did this a pretty poor way. They cost people sales by leaking out a few games at a time rather than just saying, "Here's all the shit that's going to be on sale and for how much."
Really once you look past the "hey neat a surprise every day" child-like factor this was a really stupid way to do it. I would have spent more money if I didn't have to hedge my bets on maybe wanting something on later days. I definitely would have gotten Far Cry 2 and maybe Dragon Age, TMUF, and Batman had I known everything at once.
I have 82 games worth almost $900. Although I definitely didn't spend that much. It's too bad there's no way to somehow tell how much was actually paid (sales and whatnot). It'd be fun to see the savings.

This occurred to me, actually. I wondered about it... then I shelled out $5 for ME anyway.
Perhaps they're testing the waters for their Christmas sale. or they're betting that most people only want one or two titles and won't hold back if they see it pop up.

So, does mirror's edge run like absolute ass for anyone once glass gets broken?
Like from 120 fps down to around 3-4 fps.
Do you perchance have Physx turned on and aren't running a compatible GPU? In a case like that, Physx duties would get sent to the CPU, which is bad.

I'm getting around 500. Oh well, I'm not in any hurry.
Just visited another forum and it made me remember why I don't go anywhere else. The first topic I saw was an orgy of PS3 fans berating Valve for being "too lazy to develop games for PS3."
Spent several hours and made significant upgrades to the calculator. It now includes packages built into the list. It's the most accurate Steam Calculator on the internet!

I regret to report a bug :P
It's detecting the games that make up Orange Box and Half Life 2 Complete on my account as separate packages and hence double-counting them.
(e: and the indie games pack with the hideously long name isn't shown ("The absolute, autonomous, freewheeling, grassroots, nonaligned, nonpartisan, sovereign, unconstrained, uncontrolled, unregimented games pack"). And Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor, Red Faction, Red Faction Guerrilla and Saints Row 2 are mistakenly not in the THQ pack).

Your reading skills are beyond compare.
There are a few funny things that go on, like if you own a bunch of the HL2 games but not the Valve everything pack you'll get some overlap (due to some games showing up in some packages but not others - I'm looking at your Lost Coast!). Aside from that though, you shouldn't have any packages show up that you actually don't have.

Uh-huh. So when's Naughty Dog bringing Uncharted to other platforms then?
Awesome work with the calculator Slim. Though I'm scared to see what my account has cost me over the years.

Bah, I only saw your PA post and trotted off to check the generated profile, I hadn't read your blog :P
In an attempt to remain helpful, there's still the THQ package error and missing indie games pack I mentioned above!

I wish I worked at Valve.
Do they get the games free or something?
Origin: Galedrid - Nintendo: Galedrid/3222-6858-1045
Blizzard: Galedrid#1367 - FFXIV: Galedrid Kingshand
Not too bad...
Press accounts are also tasty

Although it only says 476 games, when my Steam Community page says 589 =\
Yeah, that sounds about right. I kinda doubt he'd have every single game if he had to buy them.
And I didn't even buy anything during the sale!
Yes, definitely.
I just paid $5 to have it on my PC too.
I think I would have paid up to $30 after having played it.
Steam owns my soul.

Oh man. The twelve days of Christmas?
I've spent roughly $100-120, as most came from sales or packages.
I regret not getting Batman for half off - I hesitated and then forgot the sale was for one day.
Do... Re... Mi... So... Fa.... Do... Re.... Do...
Forget it...
Christmaaaaaaas.
Well, and World of Goo during that insane 'pay what it's worth to you' sale.

Turn off PhysX
I'm only getting 450kb/s
the download is going god awful slow
Knock one of the sliders, I think it was graphical quality, down a notch. Or at least that's what worked with minimal graphic changes for me.
Unless you're using an ATi Card, in which case, yeah, turn off physX

Yeah Radeon 4870. Turned off physx and it worked fine.
