Seven days ago, the world ended. Not with a bang, or with a whimper, but with a sound like one thousand peacocks bursting from the chest of a single, bleating goat.
Grab your shotgun and don your re-purposed sporting equipment - Ragnarok's come and it's time to mess shit up.

If you do not want to make a character, but would still like to bip in occasionally/fuck with the players, then do I have good news for you! Characters whose names are written in
Lime may be controlled by anyone who wanders into the thread. Anyone. Just make sure to post the character's actions in
Sandybrown so DE?AD notices them.

I'm wearing clothes just out of the dryer, too.
Too bad it's because I have to go to work.
someone else want to find it? I don't have time to troll the old threads for the flavour text
http://glossolalia-rpg.pbworks.com/
see the sidebar where it says RADLands.doc? yeah, download that
you are expected to know what those words in the document mean
once you figure it out, sars boy, tell me
there is the primary Crash in the section on RAD (which affects mainly mechanics) and a Booster table which has an additional, mainly cosmetic, effect (the Booster is what we fill in)
A lot of this is daunting to even the experienced players, so I'm sure it looks like a bunch of gibberish to someone new at this stuff
ask any questions in the thread and someone will be happy to answer!
Funeral Pyre sounds cool. Syd is a redheaded megalomanic with crazy fire powers. That's all i really need to know....until we get in fight. But hey that's probably not for a while.
now we wait
why did DE?AD tell me to start up now he know I don't like read
everything will be fine, you'll start at square one if you join
THM=Wolverine? Then where is Magneto?
Also, does anyone think Cassandra would appreciate the spare black plastic on that defeated meat bag?
!
That is a good point. I think i may have burned it all though.
-At the start of the game, both players get 3 RAD and put their Leaders into play. Leaders have three stats-- Phys, Soc, and Ment. If any one of these stats hits 0, you lose. You also lose if you run out of cards to draw, like pretty much every TCG ever.
-Other than Leaders, there are two types of cards: Fighters and Support. Support is further broken down into more classes, which I haven't named yet so we'll just use MTG terms to keep it simple: Instant, Sorcery, and Equipment, along with something like Field cards in Yugioh or Gym cards in Pokemon, which affect the entire field. You can play up to one Fighter and two Support cards each turn. I'm thinking about limiting the number of cards you can have in play at once also but I dunno yet.
-Fighters are basically weaker leaders. As a rule of thumb they almost never have points in all three stats, but in one or two.
-The points a Fighter has serve as its attack power on your turn and its defense power on your opponent's turn. So let's say you have a Fat Man out, who has a 3 in Phys and a -- in the other two stats. On your turn, you can attack and knock 3 points off of one of your opponent's fighters' Phys stat. On your opponent's turn, physical attacks directed at Fat Man deduct points from his Phys stat. If his Phys stat hits 0, he dies.
-Unless there's a special ability in effect, Fighters can only damage the stats of enemy Fighters and Leaders that correspond to their own stats. In the example above, Fat Man can only attack Fighters that also have something other than -- for a Phys stat and can't do anything to those that don't. So, the more types of stats a Fighter has, the more versatile they are, but also the more vulnerable they are, because it means that they can take attacks from multiple directions.
-Most stronger abilities cost RAD to use, but you only start with three and it only regenerates through card effects. If you ever hit six RAD you automatically trigger your Leader's Mini-Crash, which is generally either mutually beneficial or detrimental.

Roll less than 40% to see if Neo actually knows what's going on.

Well now we know why THM never dies
Death is scared of him
I both love and fear the Wounds = ods system.
Like, I imagine that kid back in Hail to the Watch now has both a crippling phobia of fire, and will be akward to older women for the rest of his natrual born life. Also, of course, the scars.
Psychic Static [%]: You are capable of generating a field of psychic static. Attempts to telepathically contact creatures in the area, or to use telepathy within the area, suffer a penalty equal to ½ your Psychic Static rating. You can affect an area up to ½ your [M] in feet, but all creatures in the area must be affected equally.
You're gonna need to also buy Psycher for it now, though.
