Spray & Pray gives you very, very long range. You do not need to hit S&P and come out of stealth while sitting right next to the enemy DPS so that they can kill you in half a second.
People actually do that? Im more timid about being close to the enemy than when I play annie.
I've played with some absolutely stunningly awesome Twitches, but for the most part, puggies seem to have no idea how to abuse S&P. I played with a Twitch last night who came out of stealth all a-chuckle right in Tryndamere's angry face (Tryndamere who, incidentally, was standing right behind Amumu. Well within ult range).
I tried to tell him politely about S&P's awesome range, but he just threw back a heap of asterixes because he apparently was 'pro twitch'.
While S&P has a very awesome range, being too far away isn't its most efficient use either. Ideally you want the target to be a bit closer but not quite - enough to give them a ton of hell should they choose to kill you, and enough to do the same if they choose to run away.
Obviously the mistake here is Twitch absolutely thinking I GOT TO HIT EVERY ENEMIES AT ONCE.

Fnally bought Olaf and I'm thinking of using this build:
Ruby
Phage
Tier 2 boots
Frozen Mallet
Starks
Warmog
Bloodthirster
Black Cleaver/Marded's Bloodrazor
Still not sure about the Warmog but it does seem like a good item to use

What is the point of being alive if you don't at least try to do something remarkable? ~ Mario Novak
I never fear death or dyin', I only fear never trying.
I'm not sure how necessary it is, but Olaf benefits greatly from Wriggle's Lantern for jungle superiority from what I've seen. I still have yet to buy him but I've seen it lots on him.
If you're not jungling with Olaf, be prepared to be shut down in lane most times, imo.
Olaf can do pretty fine with laning, especially if you know you're gonna do it beforehand so you can set up masteries for it. His axe is great for last hitting (and if you are a boss, you can use it to last hit and harass at the same time! Zounds!) and it's easy to quickly farm by popping his damage+lifesteal before tossing it.
Jungling is definitely the better option but he can certainly hold his own in a lane.

When I played Kayle I grabbed Teleport and my early game item build was Doran's Ring > Boots > Doran's Ring. Never run out of mana after that and could Q off cooldown with Mana Regen runes.

Starting with a Ruby Crystal on most heroes is generally not recommended due to lack of potions. Just do Doran's Shield, since this looks like a laning build.
Also, get the Recurve before turning the Phage into the Mallet.
Warmog's is a bit of a waste. While he can farm it to max without too much issue, and MOAR HP is great for his W, you probably need some actual armor/resists if you're going the tank route instead of just MOAR HP.

So, did the hotfix end the LeBlancocalypse? I stopped the day she came out since I've come to expect some tweaking to be needed on every new champnow that I've seen how Riot does things.
I remember this all random game were I was put mid as Kayle since we had no better option. Ended up versus Mord or some other real dumb pushing/mid champ. Of course they had to say something...
Oh that sucks Shrieve, you're going to have to go back a couple of times. /tryhardboots. Ended up staying in the lane farming until one of the side towers went down and I went and bought boots 1, rageblade, and codex. 8-)
I do hope she gets buffed... She's like my #2 played champ and I haven't played her really since June. She was so beast back in the day.

the heal is pretty weak. it starts at 60 mana for 65 hp, and scales up by 35 hp/ level. it is nice for laning, but since you have to burn mana just to have a ranged presence in the first place, it's not really practical to rely heavily on it.
any character with a ranged autoattack can zone kayle by just sitting behind their creep wave, last-hitting and falling back for the necessary 10 secs or so whenever they see the flameblade pop up.

You have +30 AP or more
So your heal is really more like 100 HP

I usually put a point into her E first, then max W (Heal) while prioritizing R > W > Q > E.
Since Kayle is usually stuck supporting until she finishes either Guinsoo's or Nashor's, I like flying around the back with heals, slows, and ult until I can get the items to melt people.
Item build again is Doran's Ring, Boots, Doran's Ring, Nashor's or Guinsoo's. No mana problems during laning once you get the 2nd Ring.

the heal scales at 0.5, and between the 65 point heals and 65 point furies, it eats her 250-or-so starting mana pool pretty quickly
the second dorans ring is probably a good tip. i'm generally so eager to get her AS up and her rageblade that i have a hard time taking a second one, but you're right that it probably makes her a lot more capable during laning.

The LeBlanc hotfix should be our very shortly. There might be some tooltip discrepancies until you relog. Like I mentioned in the previous thread, we wanted to solve two primary issues: the strength of Q-R, especially at level 6, and her mana efficiency.
For Q-R the following changes:
Reduced the initial damage on Sigil of Silence to 70/110/150/190/230 from 80/125/170/215/260.
Reduced the cast range on Sigil of Silence to 700 from 750.
Increased the cooldown of Mimic to 40 seconds from 30 seconds at all ranks.
Reduced the damage amplification on Mimic to 10/25/40% from 20/30/40%. (The tooltip was incorrectly stating 20/35/50%).
To address her mana efficiency we made the following changes:
Increased the mana cost on Sigil of Silence to 70/75/80/85/90 from 60/65/70/75/80.
Increased the mana cost on Distortion to 80/90/100/110/120 from 60/70/80/90/100.
Increased the mana cost on Ethereal Chains to 80 from 70 at all ranks.
Reduced her mana per level to 50 from 56.
We made two minor changes in addition to the ones noted above. We reduced her armor per level by 0.5 since melee need to feel she's appropriately squishy, and we reduced the damage of Distortion and Ethereal Chains by 5 at all ranks to preserve Q's position as the highest damage output ability and not adjust skill choices.
We will be carefully monitoring the impact of these changes.
Good. Now LeBlanc'ing in the early game carries some risk. Still strong, but 750 range damage/silence for almost free was fucking stupid. Now it's pretty damned close to Kass' silence nuke.
Yea I was Ez yesterday and even with my mystic shot range, she would just dash into me and then do half my health and silence me so I couldn't get away or blink.

I grabbed an early Mejais after my usual tanky crap, and snowballed my way to a zhonyas and DFG.
600+ AP.
I could quite literally kill anyone on the opposing team almost instantly with DFG+Ult because they refused to buy MR, not to mention the fact that it would fully heal me in the process.

Her AP coefficients are already pretty high though.
Since she's so new I don't know where to pull her numbers up from yet. Got a link? I'm going mostly off of my gut in the couple games I played against her.
One game was a PA inhouse where we decided that LeBlanc should go build AD instead of AP for fun and her abilities were still hitting like a truck. Like. Her silence was taking off like a third of my Lux's life around level 11 or so. I mean, I hadn't built any MR at that point I don't think, but she hadn't built any AP either.
That same game she chain-towerdived veigar and rammus in dbc at level 6

Every morde I've seen since the patch has completely dominated the game. Casters with void staffs, carries with bloodrazors, everyone with magic resist. We can't kill him or stop him from killing us.
Like 4 or 5 people on him and he'll still take a person or two down before he walks away.
It's reaching garen level proportions of ridonkulus. You should be that unkillable while still putting out that much damage.

Holy shit that is a hysterical nerf. Nerfed every ability at the same time in multiple ways in the same patch, plus base stat nerfing too.
The bigger the whine, the bigger the nerf. The reasoning on the W and E nerfs is the most retarded thing I've heard all day. "Q-R is too good. So we nerfed it. But we nerfed everything else too, because we want people to be forced to use Q-R." Why the fuck a target ability is supposed to do more damage than a skill shot with an additional positioning component I'm not sure I understand.

He's not much more powerful than before, honestly, and the same rules apply. Try to force a fight in a river or jungle and you'll cut his survivability by 20%. That, and laning a good person against him would help too. I recommend Vlad, or Xin / Sona, to think of a couple good combinations off hand.
Meh, not much point to warmogs on morde, just makes you die faster to bloodrazors.
The standard 2k hp and a shit ton of armor/mres is what you want, beefs your 600hp of shield right up.
I've changed my build with the latest patch though. Always used to start with spirit visage and randuins, but now I'm tending to dump visage for an earlier abyssal sceptre. Just those two ends up giving you about 160 of each defense with merc treads, and that's usually more than enough toughness.
I can also legitimately recommend triple stacks if you start well.
That sounds like a really good idea Insanity. AP on Morde has been something I've been neglecting completely until after I become pretty much unkillable.
I've given him a try pure AP, but you do end up very squishy indeed, with no built in escapes. You get more shield gen, but your shield is paper thin, it doesn't really work well.
The main problem is that you need to be in the thick of a fight to pump out damage, and that means you need some survivability. If only there were more items like abyssal sceptre.
That said, dfg>ult>zhonyas is funny as hell :P
