[JAM MOBA SON] League of Legends: onions suck
Posts
That plus the 300 bonus riot points finally got me to drop real cash monies on this game.
He wants to be hit. Damn masochist.

Oh yeah, I've been 30 for a while. I run health quints, MPen marks, and mp/5 seals and glyphs as my generic caster page.

Lost to a shit talking Ryze who thought it took skills, he one shot me at level 3. Full health down to nothing.
I know how that fell like. Makes me fucking rage like no tommorow when the jerk ends up winning because my team is horrible ( even worse when im the bad one) But there are lots of little moments in this game where you feel awesome. Like ulting those enemies who just escaped the team fight with Karthus. Or getting a triple kill while already dead because they insist on standing on your death aura or being Karthus in general. Now if I could only not suck with Kassasdin , I would have a pretty healthy choice of characters.
I post because I care, this is a warning for anyone who has not played ranked...don't do it.
Also I am not sure what Ryze thought took skills, all he said was "it took skillz"
I think I need to read a book on public speaking, in an effort to coerce my team to work together.

I never fear death or dyin', I only fear never trying.
Who can't a semi decent Ryze not almost instantly kill?

I think it has a lot to do with her cooldowns compared to Ryze. It is really easy to set up Ryze so you can keep blasting people without too much of a pause between casting. Annie has her Q which has a shot cooldown and does decent damage, a shield with a long cooldown, and AoE cone that doesn't do that great of damage and a kind of high cooldown and then Tibbers which is her ult

They have said Ryzes' ult will be remade but no date was set.

But he doesn't have any escape skill, his w, while a semi-decent skill in keeping certain foes at bay, doesn't really afford him much survivability and he's excessively easy to gank. If he plays a solo lane the enemy has to basically fall asleep to let you farm. His autoattack farms poorly and you can get the job done with e or q but they push way harder.
I'd say most would prefer Annie due to the heavier and more bursty damage across a team as well as the superior laning/harass of her Q, in addition to the sheer greatness that is Tibbers but bursty casters are not in short supply and they all have a little spot to fill.
Honestly, the only way to do well in solo ranked is to play carries in 95% of your games. If your team needs a tank or a jungler and nobody else is willing to fill those roles, you need to do it. You will have people feed on your team in all but those rare matches where everyone on your team clicks.
It desperately needs a range increase.
That is the main thing.
I think if they changed it into the same size, maybe a little wider and a fraction longer, as Panth's HSS, that'd do.
Also, they need to just straight up fix it so it doesn't pause before using it for so long, and when (sometimes if) people get stunned/snared.

Wheee
Ha! I almost lost a 5v4 last night when their Trynd rage quit. I had to talk my entire team off of the ledge and tell them that no, we were not going to lose, we were going to play defense, kill a carry and then push. And we still almost lost. It was like herding cats, but I managed to wrangle them into a coherent team by late game.
I have to say though, starting to wonder if that theory about the level of play taking a massive dive lately isn't true. Just had a game tonight, all mid 20's, where I was just in awe of how bad my team played. Should have just queue dodged when I saw their Garen had taken smite. But I stuck it out. Then I get stuck in mid, and our Heimer refuses to take mid even after the team is like "Nasus in mid?" So Kennen and I have a mexican standoff since neither of us can really hurt the other, while the side lanes get completely rolled. By 15 min in, the enemy Jax is 10/0/1 and the rest of the team is 2+ levels over the whole team minus me. And that's when our 0/9/1 Olaf announces in chat he's going to see just how high he can get his death count. And our wonderful smite garen never even jungled, but he did have the cool merc skin.
