    Those GSL maps. Turns out they're huge. Its really key to push and expand 4 times behind it.

    I'm gonna take my thread back, but I've been really busy with my Maya modeling class. I've been spending the last two weeks working on this: (spoilered for huge!)

    Sadly, it's still not done. I gotta rework and tweak some of the textures, add lighting, and some kind of normal or bump mapping. Not bad for my first go with the software though. Any constructive criticism or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Catz's stream, it's hilarious.

    Drewbie called on teamspeak and they had the weirdest conversation while "You got a friend in me" played and Catz fended off banshee harass.

    looks like we might be seeing a resurgence of 15 Nexus from Protoss in PvT if thats the case.

    PvT is the best matchup for 12 Nex in BW but only on big maps.

    those gsl maps are nice, taldarim is so massive it's actually a bit ridoncks

    PK you gotta keep an eye out for air, that's probably your biggest concern at the moment.

    Get those Thors out quicker, even just 1-2 to dissuade air.

    Anyone who hard tech switches to VRs will completely own you (only reason I didn't was because I think I saw Thors already, so I just made a few to distract you :P)

    I have a feeling with your mech build, that sending 3-4 groups of like 2-3 void rays around your base would destroy you, PK :D

    3-4 groups of 2-3 void rays is at least 6 void rays, probably more.

    That'll leave your army pretty weak :P.

    Always fun to run into other PA people on ladder :)

    Happened 3 times now. Once was someone during beta, I forget who.

    The other was Guek a few months ago and now while offracing on SEA I run into DodgeBlan!

    I would, but I'm not even a member of gamereplays or whatever.

    Dhal did his 7 pool followed by macro strat. My housemate who lurks remembered having watched one of dhal's replays in which he uses the tactic as I saw the lings coming.

    He proceeded to kill a bunch of probes, pull back and beat me down with many roaches.

    I didn't post the replay yet as I wasn't sure if DodgeBlan wanted it up. I prefer to respect the privacy of people who are on the forums that I play when its not a specific tournament.

    you usually can't finish it in time. even if you 9 scout you don't see the pool in time

    if you'd been sloppy with macro and stockpiled minerals you might be able to get a hard wall-off with a pylon but it'd delay your zealot coming out if you did that and its possible that you might lose a gateway. If your macro has been tight though you probably won't have the minerals to finish a wall.

    Avoiding being behind after it usually requires 2 things 1) you need a 9 scout worker that sees that there are no followup lings and 2) you need to stay calm and just micro 8-9 probes while you chrono a zealot. Re-watching the replay he did pretty well, he didn't fall behind me in harvesters until after my lings were dead and my expansion hatchery was done.
