Is there a vent server I can hang out in while I play this game? The one in the OP is not working, so I assume it's no longer existing.
Use the GW2 TS3 server. You're welcome to hang out there. (In the event of GW2 being active you can always make a GW1 channel to hang out in to avaoid cross talk.)

So, i need 2 more points to make 30/50 ... one is the black widow but the other, i'm not sure what to go for. I'm totally tired of the game so i wasn't looking to grind that much.
The 'easiest' would be getting the luxon armor (which seems cheaper) but i'm down to 19P after giving most of my stuff away to friends and some people on the guild so that's out.

Why not go for a couple titles instead? Fissure of Woe is an easy area to do solo with heroes, and will maybe take you two or three hours. You could also do one of the Factions rep titles, Luxon or Kurzick. Either only requires that you get to Rank 4. Or if you wanted, you could nab one of the Guardian titles. Factions only has like 12 missions in it, and most of them are pretty okay on hard mode with some practice.
Yeah, i was thinking about that. Didn't know that we only needed rank 4 for Kurzick, i'm at rank 2 right now. Also, i "only" need 20k points for the spearmarshal one.

does this involve AI of allies you have to protect? Because fuck that! If it's just AI of heroes, screw them and outrun everything with your own runbuffs. Or flag them manually ahead of you, so you can see when they run into things. I have flag hotkeyed to my 4th mouse button and unflag to my 5th for just this reason.
You have to protect 3 npc's, plus there is a horde of other npcs that arent vital but your also supposed to "protect".
If I could just make a break for it, it wouldn't be a problem.

In the few seconds that everything attacked them, we could generally get away. Slowly but surely my heroes/hench would die off, but so long as the npcs you need to escort survive (and enough of the farmers?) then you win the mission, to hell with the heroes. Just keep moving, don't stop except to summon more pets/etc.

warriors are dreadful, because they're melee and Anet hates melee. You're better off equipping a few heroes with "Fall Back", which doubles as a free heal over time. If you have no choice but to drag along a warrior, at least go with a hammer warrior for the interrupts. Otherwise, all ranged>any melee.

Geod, I have ~40plat + everlasting ogden and xandra potions you can have for your journey to GWAM or whatever.
@Morkath : how did you beat Temple o/t Intolerable? The wiki is kind of sparse, but maybe I just need to take it a lot slower when nearing the final area.

From what I remember, it was a lot of patience, careful pulling, and doing it several times. Interrupts seem to be your friend in the WiK stuff too.

Yea, I guess I'll drag along a 2nd Me instead of healing necro... Or rebuild a hero as interrupt/healing.
Giving away some excess minis yesterday caused me to notice that I was only four minis short of another HoM point. A few quick pickups from reasonably-priced sellers and I'm at 28 points. Just need one more set of armour and a few more titles and I'm at 30. I can totally do that by the end of August.

I'll finish WiK and then I'm not sure I'll play any more, it'll put me at 17/50. Maybe I'll then try my hand at Black Moa pet and get some more hero armors and that'd put me at 19/20 and then spend whatever money I have left on one more armor set and then I'd end up with 20/50. For someone who started earlier this year, I think that's enough effort.
Heh heh, I originally thought I was only going to go for like seven points. But once I got them, I saw a new shiny item juuuust two points away, then another, and here I am at 28. I've been working on the project on and off since the HoM launched, though.
