yeah, the classy move last night to push through the bill.... that sure was a classy move. I enjoyed when Walker blamed the democrats for not doing their duty and debating the bill by fleeing the state, because the bill wouldn't have passed if the democrat minority had been present (see how the vote that passed the house)
I wanted to make a thread about the Wisconsin vote but after the last one got locked I was afraid people would call it a megathread and I wasn't sure what the mod response would be.
I am extremely pissed off about it as well. And I don't really think I'm coherent enough to make a good thread even when I'm not overly emotional.

and I know it can be hard to sort out what you want to place your faith in
but it is vitally imperative that you don't become so overwhelmed with the task of deciding, yourself, what to believe in that you rely on other people to tell you what is worth listening to

but the bonus is, you notice it and now is the part of your life where you start fact checking things and realize that basically nothing is completely true if it is told to you in an easy to understand fashion

Like, I would really love to participate in discussions with you guys but I do nothing but read because I don't know if anything I have to contribute is useful or worth saying.
I want to go to college and just stay in college and read everything and learn everything
I dont See how it was blatantly illegal? It is horrible and underhanded and a dick move, but the rules requiring a quorum are only those which spend money. So they just made a new small bill only concerned with the worker's rights but doesn't spend money. That isn't illegal, it's just sneaky politics.
