    I have a friend who makes the face in the second panel.

    It's usually for the same or very similar reason: excessive tech-speak by those who wish to feel important.

    It is also for, but not limited to, her husband's nonsense, tom-foolery, chicanery, hargle-bargle, and bally-who.

    He's purchased two versions so far and they both don't work

    I really want to like Brink but it just feels broken. So much lag and tons of graphical glitches. Seems like it needed to cook a bit longer.

    I'm talking 360 version here.

    Trying to play some brink. It's so frustrating. I can tell there is a cool game but this lag is fucked.

    bought another copy of Brink this time for PC. Turns out it does not like my ATI card. I have the "texture grid" bug. Fuck it just fuck it.

    no the 11.5a hot fix drivers did not help.

    I have bought this game twice now and neither one works!

    I bought it twice because when I complained about the 360 version people said the PC was better.

    it's okay I can write it off as a business expense ;)

    it's frustrating because there are brief moments when the game works like it is supposed to and I like it.

    Originally it was an elipses but then I thought leaving it as a comma let the reader continue the sentence on and it could end anyway you wanted to.

    I enjoy the last panel because it reminds me of a lot of old Marvel comics where there would be what is supposed to be quick action taking place in a panel but there are also paragraphs of exposition being delivered by multiple characters.

    I have the same (non M) GPUs as Gabe and I'm having no problems here.

    Actually nah, I had the grid thing once but the new patch fixed that.

    ...And instead sometimes my text becomes unintelligible. Oh, and when I was playing yesterday I got a nifty bug where everyone except people in my fireteam were invisible, which made shooting dudes p. difficult. Oh, and the sound sometimes cuts out for the duration of a map.

    Apart from that though, it's an awesome game!

    I remember when I was getting session errors in Portal 2 all the tech threads I found online loftily informed posters that it was a problem exclusive to pirated versions of the game

    Which was about as helpful as... well, your friend punching you in the face because the internet made him mad

    Although the Alienware he seems to be using (the m11x) doesn't come with an ATi configuration I feel his pain... I have an m11x and it is sweet as summer shit... however a handful of games hates nVidia Optimus and all it stands for.

    It makes me a sad panda :(
