And the flowchart should be in the OP probably :P, but it's:

I'm pretty sure that a 4/6 movespeed in tabletop translates to 64kph.
If it's 64.8kph in MWO, then 16.2 is correct.
I was reverse engineering assuming that a 4/6 (base Hunchback/Centurion/Jager/Catapult) movespeed was 64kph, 6/9 (base Raven/Commando) was 96kph, 8/12 (Spider/Cicada) as 128kph, etc.
The odd-walk speed mechs (3/5 - Awesome and Atlas, 5/8 - older Ravens, Dragon, Trebuchet, Quickdraw and 7/11 - Jenner) effectively got extra speed thanks to HEXBASED COMBAT, and thus I was ignoring them for the calculation.
I'm going to be eliting my JM6-A, and I need a bit of input on two possible builds: [JM6-A]: 2xLRM15, 2xLLAS, AMS, 280XL, BAP, DHS, Artemis, Endo
This is a fairly standard LRM boat, I think. I'm forgoing the dakka, since it's a pain to try to lead the guy and keep a lock for LRMs. Also, space and weight are tight. The BAP seemed like a good idea to speed locks.

Hmmm. I don't like using energy HPs as primary(ish) weapons on the Jager because they are down by the hips (unless it's the FB). I run an LRM JM6-A with AC/5s and 4x LRM5+A launchers.
For the second build, you've got the SSRMs for lights which should be plenty. Maybe change out the LBXs to UAC/5s?

Cap that 2nd Jager with SSRMS doesn't need artemis does it? That adds like 4 tons of useless weight unless Artemis doesn't affect streaks in which case you should just burn money :P
I saw that SAME mech though, used as a light hunter and it was AWESOME.

Artemis doesn't effect SSRMs (cost, weight, or crits) from what I've seen (only LRMs and SRMs). Which is nice because that means you can mount LRM or SSRM builds without blowing all those C-Bills each time.

Yeah, I'm counting on putting Artemis on it for when I swap to LRMs, so I just left the box ticked for SSRMs.
I'm pretty jazzed for the Quickdraw. I want to love the Dragon, and I kind of do, but I could do WAY WAY BETTER with a fast heavy if it didn't have that monstrous CT.
One of the PGI guys on Reddit said the Quickdraw plays kind of alike a big Centurion. Considering the Centurion is my favorite mech by far, I am pretty excited for Tuesday.
It's time for some Heavy Mech Madness, so we figured it was time to take a giant step forward with some of our most robust mechs!
Don't let their hulking nature deceive you, these big guys will tear your enemies apart! From Friday June 14th 10:00am PDT to Tuesday June 18th 10:00am PDT we're giving 30% off the price of the Catapult CPLT-C4, Cataphract CTF-3D and Jagermech JM6-DD. CPLT-C4 regular 2350 , now 1645
CTF-3D, regular 3955 , now 2768
JM6-DD, regular 3410 , now 2387
Rage with style! Grab the Catapult, Cataphract and JagerMech Fractal pattern for 50% off!
So come grab a hefty Heavy for at a great rate! Servers will be down for a few minutes at 10:00am PDT while we enable the sale and will be back shortly after, then we'll see you on the battlefield!
I am going to have to buy more mech bays before This guy comes out. I am going to have to decide then when All is said and done which one I actually want to keep and master.
Never sell 'mechs. The price of a' mech bay is much less than the cost of rebuying a 'mech you sold, whether in MC or the opportunity cost of grinding for the C-Bills.

On sale, literally the day after I bought it with C-bills. Meh. Wouldn't have paid MC for it anyway.
UNRELATED! Looking for more input on Not-Very-Secret Project Mark I.
1. Changed fill to white, per recommendations.
2. Added outline to text, filled with orange per recommendations.
3. Thickened outline for...reasons.
4. I hate the way the K lines up in the text. Will probably fidget that at some point. This font (Battletech Oldstyle) is kinda a pain in the ass.
5. Also, there's some aliasing problems with the text. Probably an artifact of my crappy art methods (Me = Not Artist). Inviting suggestions to fix this.

I'm not sure if it'd be better or worse, but you could try to do the boarder (and maybe the letter outline) in the dark-blue.
I agree with removing the field of orange. Keep the orange as a highlight. Also, it's not a unit insignia without fake Latin wrapping around the border: cum rigida atque obstinatum (With Stiff Resolve)

Your suggestion of a latin quote is taken under advisement! I'm afraid for the purposes of Not-Very-Secret Project Mark I, it may not translate into the final form well. There are certain...constraints I am constructing this under. See bullet point 3. I'll see if it's possible to make something work, but it'll mean changing the basic outline shape.
Also, running your quote through Translate gives a different, shorter version: Resolve rigida. Is this functionally the same? I don't speak latin.
@TOGSolid Thanks for the heads-up on the font. I'm using a number of things (MS Paint, MS Publisher, Gimp) due to access and my limited skill set. Again, not an artist here, but like to design things.

So will the Quickdraws stock armor be low to go in line with it's battletech lore, and then still have high max armor. Or do they plan to cap the max armor at a low amount as well?

If they were going to break from the tabletop by capping the max armor at something lower than the usual point where it's capped by tonnage they would have done it with the JagerMech.
Ok a Quickdraw with a STD 300 and ES with 400/402 armor will have 16.5 tons to play with.
Imaginations: Go!
Flamers. All the way down.
Flamer range should increase the more flamers you have. One flamer? Normal pathetic range. 6 flamers? 500 meters.
It would both ridiculous and functional. Answering PPC alpha strikes with giant gouts of flame whenever they peeked out of cover would be awesome.
This may be the best idea you've ever had!
You very nearly got me in trouble because I read that while I was on the phone with my wife. Luckily I was able to cover the mouthpiece before I snort laughed. Explaining why I was reading (let alone what I was reading) while I was supposedly paying attention to what she was saying would not have gone well.

402 Max armor, shave off two points to get it to .5 or 0.
Made a Kablamajager in the DD. The 5-ton difference may or may not be significant, but it seems to fit just fine with an XL280 (which means it's faster than the Muromets).
Did one test drop and blew up some people good before inexplicably losing a leg. Then I blew up another guy while hopping on one leg, just for good measure. Then the guy who blew up my leg showed up and chastised me harshly.
Still, it looks like a workable build. 2 LBXs w/3tons of ammo, 2 LL, 280XL, 400 armor, 10 DHS, Endo.

For me, Google Translate renders "With Stiff Resolve" as Rigida atque obstinatum. It translates Resolve rigida back to English as "Resolve the Rigid," which is a shame, as Resolve Rigida is catchier.
Saved up 11m to deck out a Quickdraw. Can't wait to try it.
Any consensus on what the hardpoints are going to be? I care less about the JJ capability and more about how many SSRMs and Lasers I can cram on the thing. Are there none with ballistic slots?

This one would be used as an up-close light-hunting specialist. I had to downsize the engine and drop the AMS, but kept the BAP to counter ECM and speed locks.

I've been running approximately something like this build, to reasonable results:
STREAKJAGER FINAL [JM6-A]: 2xMG, 4xSSRM, 2xLLAS, 300STD, DHS, Endo
Hint: The spice is in the MGs, and the STD engine for foot/torso twist speed and not getting side-cored.
I saw that SAME mech though, used as a light hunter and it was AWESOME.

I'm thinking an XL360 jumpjetting laser skirmisher.
Yeesss.....yyyyeeesssssss....
Also with 400/402 armor
Proposed HPs?
One variant looks all energy. Probably 2 per each ST, and 1-2 per arm.
Thats 8 Mlas plus as many DHS as you can cram in there.
Or you drop all arm armor and drop in 4x PPCs in the torsos for massive BZOT BOOBIE POWER!
4G: 4 laser, 2 MIssile (more JJs)
4H: 4 laser, 3 missile (fewer JJs)
5K: 6 laser, 1 missile (split the difference JJs)
