And a thanks to @lostninja for gone home. I've actually TECHNICALLY seen it played to completion, but I was playing pokemon at the time, so was not paying attention.

Has anyone here played "King Arthur's Gold"? It looks like a cross between "Worms" and "Minecraft" and it's on sale for $7.50. Just curious cause it seem like it's right up my alley.
Yeah, it looks amazing. I'm waiting to see if it gets a better deal going on, but I think it's one I'll snag before the sale is over.
Laugh as I know you will. But as a man who just played a PC game with a respectable rig for the first time ever, damn Aliens Colonial Marines looks better than anything I have played on a console!
Sounds like someone needs to play Bioshock Infinite.
Do I need to finish playing 1&2 before picking up Infinite? The atmosphere looks much more my style (less dark) so I'd love to give it a try but I'm hesitant without finishing the others first.
I'd suggest finishing Bioshock first. Bioshock 2 is a good game, but it doesn't really add anything.
Yeah, but that said, Minerva's Den was fantastic DLC.
so i'm (more than) half tempted to pick up RPG maker so my my 2 sons (bot under 10) can come up with the story and i do the rest.
I'm more than tempted to get it myself but like with the XP version, I know I'll just spend 90% of my time dicking around for years and never finishing anything.
It's really fun to mess around with, super easy to learn too.
I've had some fun with it. It's still rough around the edges (some prisoners/workers can get stuck in corners around entrances), and it's obviously missing stuff (it's still Early Access.) Still, it's a fun "Tycoon" game; the first where I've had someone dig a tunnel through the toilet to reach freedom.
If you're willing to put up with the promise of "it'll get better later!", and the idea of building a jail where you have to make sure the people inside don't kill themselves, escape or otherwise ruin your installations, then go for it!

the advice for Steam Sales is always to wait for a game to become a flash sale unless it's the end of the sale, right?
Really really like the concept and execution. I'm fairly sure I will love this game when it is fully released.
Also, they have a great sense of humor. I decided to try a dungeon Prison (edit: whoops, how did that happen >:D ) on Halloween and was absolutely baffled when I started hearing some sound and my prisoners all went for the yard ... and then this happened ... (not my video)
alright. Prison Architect wishlisted. I'll nab it at the end unless I see it become a flash sale or 75% off between now and then.
flash lower then daily almost never happens. I kinda vaguely recall it once and ppl here say it's happened once or twice. If you skip the daily you might miss the chance for the sale. Just fyi.

Is the Prototype 2 DLC worthwhile? The description leaves rather a lot to be desired.
On a similar note, the Skyrim DLC tempts me but I hate paying more for the DLC than I did for the game...when it's still in my backlog even. On the other hand with the DLC available I kinda want it before tackling the game.
Newell!
Edit: Argh. Humble Store has the Crusader Kings II Collection available for $20. I have the base game (from some bundle I think?) but now it's also in the same boat as Skyrim.
Actually, are they done with Skyrim and CKII DLC at this point? Looks like CKII at least just got a new one...

I was just about to shut down my computer and go to bed when I get a Steam pop-up:
Having been in middle school and high school for most of the 90's, I'm worried what kind of memories this is going to bring back, but it definitely looks really cool.

Sorry about the lateness of the selection. I just want to thank everyone again for making this community so great.
@MechMantis came at me despite my warnings and gifted me La Mulana! That game is going to kick my butt.
Thanks!

My friend played a hell of a lot of this, and now I will be able to compete with him.
Hell yes.
Last bump. Will try to track down the winner in an hour or so.

Pretty much, unless it's already 90% off.
edit: or a Daily. Flash sales are very rarely cheaper than dailies.
Don't forget your flannel shirt and Crystal Pepsi before you play it.

I have one huge gripe with the game. That it makes me think of this....
Also,
DAMN IT!! @KoopahTroopah, you fat bastard!! Accept my friend request so I can give you my cheap, insignificant, and rather belated, Birthday gift!

Thank you kindly, good sir. And thanks again for pointing me in the right direction for mods.
Thanks man! I'm looking forward to dying over and over and over again!
Does anyone have the link for the patch to help make the game run better that people were talking about?
