Detective Arthur Bell was mystified. There was a series of bizarre disappearances in Toronto, and he'd been assigned to solve them. Worse, his partner, Beth, had been flaking out on him and acting strangely. He'd have to figure out what was going on all by himself. All of the disappearances were of women in approximately the same age range, and all of them looked similar in terms of height, build, and facial features. Now, he'd been called to the scene of a grisly murder of a woman who looked similar to those who had been kidnapped. Was the kidnapper escalating or getting sloppy? And where the hell was Beth?
GAME OVERVIEW
This is a pretty generic Phalla. See the linked post for general details if you're a newbie.
This will be a standard village vs. mafia affair.
SPECIAL MECHANICS
Not creative, we're going back to basics and see what y'all can do with just reason, reading people, and intellect. Active villages are winning villages though.

You are a member of the Toronto PD. The brass has assigned you to the disappearance of a number of young women. Now a woman has been killed and it is the department's highest priority to solve this case. Find the perpetrators.
Wincon: Eliminate the criminals
VOTING
Each day all players must vote for a player they believe is a criminal in bold red. Failure to do will be persecuted. Do not edit vote posts. Ties will result in all tied players being eliminated.
Voting will close at midnight eastern each day. Posts at 12:00 will not count.
Orders and Communication
Include me in all communication. Proboards are acceptable, link them to me. Mafia can post orders there. Specials may submit orders by responding to their role PM.
SIGNING UP
If you would like to play, sign up in a pretty color.
Signups will last til I feel like starting or signups exhaust. There's no game reasons this cannot be adjusted for size, as it is not particularly adventerous in its elements.
INACTIVITY
Be active! Or the mafia will win and while that's fun for the mafia, it sucks for a majority of you. Not voting will get you replaced. You will receive one warning, except on day one unless extenuating circumstances are offered.
CLARIFICATIONS
Clarifications can be requested in bold darkorange. Most will be denied. But here a few easy ones:
No conversions. No millers.
OTHER RULES
Standard Phalla rules apply: no sharing of host-provided PMs via screenshots or direct quotation. However, information may be shared indirectly, such as through rephrasing. You may not add new players to preexisting private conversations after the first message - start a new conversation instead. No anonymous contact is allowed. All messages must be traceable to a player in the game. Once you are eliminated, you may not make any more game conversation with players remaining in the game.
A NOTE ON SOURCE MATERIAL
It's pretty great. More to the point, Tatiana Maslany is pretty great and gave the best performance on TV last year. Probably. It's her or Cranston. But it's in that league. Seriously. You should go watch it before the second season premieres in April! This game will spoiler the following:
The premise of the show
A relatively predictable direction a character was taken that technically counts as a twist
The existence of a character who first appears near the end of the first season
The idea that your vote is a moral statement about you or who you vote for is some backwards ass libertarian nonsense. Your vote is about society. Vote to protect the vulnerable.
