    So, does this mean the Anniversary pins are split between the two booths? That's awful; I'd hate to wait in line at one booth only to find they're sold out and I should have gotten in the other line, but now it's too late.

    If that's the official guide book, would it be safe to assume those are the only exhibitors with pins? Not sure how i feel about that if it is.

    I very highly doubt it. They said they are releasing all the pins Friday...and I honestly can't see them only having 5 companies(Microsoft wasn't mentioned but is on the map) that have pins.

    On the other side of that last year at prime over half the pins were Pins that the staff had or that you could get from the Merch booth.

    I mean who had pins in thee expo hall at Prime?

    Hidden Path (x2)
    Wildstar (x2)
    Sony
    Ubisoft
    WotC
    The Behemoth

    So 2 less vendors right now at least (the vendors at East could have multiples for all we know), who knows about the total of pins though, but Mike did say the number at East would be comparable to Prime.

    And it could also be incomplete/wrong, so who knows.

    If I remember correctly, there were a couple of markers missing/incorrect on the Prime map last year.

    On last Prime's guidebook map, Bethesda's booth was marked with a Pinny Arcade symbol. I remember because there was some confusion on the matter because Bethesda had their own non-pinny pins they were handing out for playing ESO.

    Not disagreeing with that point. But imagine if MS only have 3,000 Titan Pins. How long would those last at PAX East, given the popularity of Titanfall and the draw that the big booths can get just by their sheer size? Knowing that a large proportion of them could end up at the bottom of an attendees swag bag which is thrown in a closet or drawer and only brought out for spring cleaning or last minute birthday presents?

    Tomorrow we find out if this could be the case, and if so I will be saving my cosplay for Saturday so I can rush the booths on Friday like a wild animal. Although the cosplay does come with swords and horns, which might be useful...

    first Pin challenge issued!
    the first comps I ran were created last minute because I was awake at 4am and going a little crazy, but people had fun so the next one has some warning.

    the challenge is:
    The Most Impressive Iron Guard Salute.
    use your imagination!
    location, inclusions, characters all up to you.
    only conditions you MUST have the iron guard pin in the picture, somewhere.
    as always pax rules apply: don't be.a.jerk and ask permission.from cosplayers etc.
    winner to be decided by the community by most awesomes.
    entries closes 2 days after pax east with votes taken one week later

    It, as far as I know, is guaranteed to be in the expo hall merch booth on floor 0. There is a /possibility/ that it will also be in the lobby merch booth.

    @PedroAsani You can limit ebay searches to successfully sold items and they go back at least a month. I took a look and the final sale values have dropped tremendously from the last month or two. There's a 15th Anniversary pin that sold for 6 bucks, and two east Chandras that have both gone for 15.

    Although, somewhat amusingly, I see a Sabrewulf that went for $40, and that pin is still available on the official store for $15.

    I have a sneaking suspicion that Friday morning is going to consist of a lot of us traveling in a Pin Pal pack. I expect it to fragment eventually, but I know Friday is my designated pin day and I'm getting the impression that I'm not the only one taking that approach.

    If I remember correctly, I spent a good hour in the PAX merch line last year waiting to buy some pinny pins. I hope they announce to everyone in line when they sell out of the 10th anniversary pin for the day.

    so...roughly in 10 to 12 hours, saturday morning here, friday afternoon (somewhere) in US is when the full East pin list is scheduled to be revealed, it feels like christmas eve!
