Super Time Force Ultra showing off the new additions to the Steam version. Appears to have some guest characters. One's obviously TF2 Pyro, and I think the other is the Mann Co guy. Not sure who the dual wielder is.
That video is so confusing, it makes Metal Gear Solid look like an episode of Full House.
So I was cruising Pixie's wishlist to see how much the whole thing would cost (since Enhanced Steam can do that, apparently), and I noticed that she had Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! on there. Which then reminded me to add it to my wishlist, because I wanted to keep track of it.
But yeah, you can annihilate someone's wishlist with a single click. That's... that's certainly something.

No lie I have a friend that threatened to do that to me. Which is why I deleted everything from my wishlist.
I think that the internet has been for years on the path to creating what is essentially an electronic Necronomicon: A collection of blasphemous unrealities so perverse that to even glimpse at its contents, if but for a moment, is to irrevocably forfeit a portion of your sanity.

Okay guys, I got a few PMs and suggestions, and this week on Friday we'll be playing PLANETSIDE 2. This game is a giant open pvp game, where we'll be rolling as a huge group of players and doing our best to help the warfront. Picture a giant platoon of fresh faced recruits being demolished repeatedly, and that should be us. It should be super amusing!
You'll need to download Planetside 2 from steam, and make a SOE account. We'll probably be going Vanu (the purple guys) since PA has a group there already. If theres enough interest in rolling one of the other two factions we can change it, but for now its Vanu.
9pm Eastern / 6pm Pacific on Friday night is our US Game Night, so be downloaded and set up by then to join in on the fun!
Which server? I have a Vanu up to 8 on the US West server is why I ask.

YES!
Emerald Server, folks.
If you can, play a little bit in advance; there's a short tutorial that gives you some free stuff at the end of it.
Gotcha. Made another Vanu and got him up to 8 as well. I am pretty damn horrible at the game, but still, I must admit it's fun.
I like the heavy. And I need to figure out a good way to earn Certs, it seems. And I'm Kalnaur on there.

If you want invites to the Cult before the Friday start, then look for me (username: Elvenshae) and @Retaba (username: Retaba or RetabaTR, if he's on his TR character) and send us a message in-game. The outfit recruitment tools (where you can, like, apply and stuff) are still in-progess.
For easy cert earnings without having to be good at FPSing, play as an Engineer or a Medic.
Engineers can deploy a pack that gives everyone nearby (including you) ammo. Each time someone grabs at least 1 bullet from it, you get some XP. You can use your other multitool to repair vehicles and base facilities (weapon emplacements, shield generators, etc.).
Medics, in addition to a solid weapon loadout, can use their special ability to heal everyone nearby a little bit over time, or their multitool to heal wounded soldiers or rez killed soldiers. At low-levels, they won't rez with full health, so remember to top them off.
If you're someone who is getting rezzed, unless you're in immediate danger of getting shot, hang around to let the medic heal you. Also, don't immediately respawn, because then the medic who's running over to pick you up just looks silly.
Being back from honeymoon is a bleh, but cleaning out the backlog is great! So far I've beaten The Plan, 140, The Swapper and The 39 Steps. I'm just nabbing a few of the shorter ones, I'm also close to wrapping up Bardbarian which is way more fun then I realized. Maybe I'll venture in Witcher 2 again. @Big Classy has the right idea, finish games! Solidarity brotha.

I've never run out of ammo. I always get shot before I do. But noted!
And I will keep an eye out for you to be in Planetside 2 during the week.

Guys, feel free to get some experience in with planetside, we'll be playing against random enemies, so we don't need to worry about being on even footing. We also need pilots to get our troops to the battles, so if anyone is really good at flying let me know. Friday we ride together and die together. Bad boys for life.
CorriganX on Steam and just about everywhere else.
@cardboard delusions Congrats on the wedding and backlog stuff, but 39 Steps is...I rarely use the phrase "not a game" but what I played of it didn't feel very game-y.

@f3rret project zomboid is pretty solid. You won't loose out on much playing it now. The end game is still being worked on but you...still have to make it there.
So, Divinity:OS is really cool but I'm having a hard time with it. I don't know what I'm doing or where to go, everything seems to be too high level for me (level 3.) I'm just running around the city talking to people and I just spent about ten minutes fireballing a couple locked doors to death and I sold some paintings I found in a house I somehow entered from said fireballed doors and what is even happening?

Hopped around a bit in Planetside this evening to get my bearings. Thought I would enjoy the sniper, but things were just to chaotic everywhere I went. Moved over to the heavy infantry for awhile and tried a bit of the engineer and medic. Still want to go back to sniping at some point.
Wait a second - now that I think about it Elvenshae, I'm fairly certain I ran past you...

My favorite "sniper" build is to take the infiltrator, add a submachine gun, and go hunt other snipers. High-risk, high-reward; it's so nice when you come up on three or four of them all looking the other way.

@capitalw you monster!
I can't stay mad, that looks to awesome! Thanks man!
Yeah that's probably right. Was trying to think of a smaller scale or PC centered one.
I would laugh if the timed exclusive xbox one games includes Tomb Raider but only on PC.

I am never gonna live that down.
Black card is "The hardest part of ________ is _______"
Isy: "I have nothing good here. I'll just throw these two cards down since they're useless."
Time to flip over the white cards.
Isy plays "the hardest part of "an Oedipus complex" is "overpowering your father".
Everyone breaks into laughter, can't breathe, laughing too hard etc.
Isy goes to look up what Oedipus complex means.
Isy: "OH MY GOD WHAT"

That's terrifying in so many ways.
Thank you very much for this game. It seems weird that my first steamgifts win would be under such...conditions.
So just thanking you didn't seem to be enough. I thought I should do something in return.
