@JebusHD Honestly, with this many people trying to coordinate things it'd probably be easier for you just to declare a date and time and location with a few people interested rather than hoping all can be available at once.

One of the best things about Minnesota is the fantastic music. Let's go over some of it shall we? Now, first of all, you can't talk about minnesota music without mentioning the legends.
THE LEGENDS!
This guy is probably #1 in terms of recognizability and musical influence.
Bob Dylan was highly influential in the development of modern rock, folk, and country. Arguably one of the most influential of his time. He paved the way for a growing poeticism of rock music. Away from the sillier, light, sort of juvenile rock of the 1950's. He played a significant part in the coming of age of rock and roll.
And the other legendary figure you might think of down here.
Prince has had a tremendous impact on the development of modern pop music, incorporating new wave, synthpop, and funk in a way that hadn't really been done before.
These are acts that you have probably heard of, so I'm not going to spend a whole lot of time going over them, check the spoiler. (No particular order)
The Trashmen - Everything you need to know here is that "Bird is the word". You wouldn't think somewhere about as far away as you can get from the ocean would put out a surf album but here we were.

Since it is publicly funded, mostly by donations, they have a lot of latitude in what they play compared to even other independently owned stations. This means you will hear a wider variety and more interesting things than you would most anywhere else. I fid get tickets to Rock the Garden however and I would recommend all music fans go. The lineup is incredible this year.
