Is it good? I think you can only get it if you do the Beta dashboard. Is that good and stable too? I don't want to have to run some janky stuff just to play smite.

I've signed up for nor downloaded any dashboard beta, but they emailed me two keys. So, sign up and hope is all you need.
Interestingly, Vainglory has a skin system now.... and you can actually unlock them by just playing the game. As you complete games without leaving, you have a chance to get cards, and after completing a set of them you can use them to unlock them... or upgrade them to a higher tier, with upgraded visuals/effects.

is there any MOBA that doesn't constantly add champs all the time? I was briefly proficient at LoL but then I stepped away for a few months and it was all like "lol congrats everything you knew about the game is wrong now"
In the last year, a total of three new heroes were added to Dota 2. It's been out for years and there are still two heroes from WC3 Dota left to add.
I went to Pax East in 2014 and got cards with codes on them for a game called Dawngate. I am cleaning out my desk and I found them. The two biggest changes in Heroes is the lack of an item shop and multiple objective based maps.
In match customization is through the talent system, giving you character and ability-specific modifications at levels 1, 4, 7, 10 (pick from 2 ults), 13, 16, 20
Coming from a lot of League, I love the fresh take.
I'm sure winning in ranked is just as arbitrary as winning in casual is for me so those 20 wins should eventually happen. Maybe I'll just give solo joust a try and see what happens.
Apparently I have a bunch of assassins really close to mastery 1. Last week (the last I played), I got Fenrir to mastery 1. Last night I got Serqet in an assault that we lost and got mastery 1, and today I got Ne Zha, almost rerolled him, but decided to keep him. Enemy team started with a DC'd Medusa, she eventually came back, and then our Agni DC'd, he didn't come back. I went 7-2 with top damage as Ne Zha and while I didn't notice the pop up after the 100 favor for the win of the day, when I was looking through the end game stats screen, I noticed that I had hit mastery 1.
Had some really crappy assaults last night though, man. The very first one we should've won, had a much better comp, but my team couldn't play for anything. Then there was the Serqet match, the rest of my team was mages. I played as safe as I could, went 8-4 overall, our Ah Puch and Zeus each had 20+ kills, in fact throughout the match, we had at least double the enemy's kills, but we were never really winning at any point. It was such a weird game.

The players you were matched with were entirely equal in skill level and that means you just have to carry and you'll win all the time.

I guess that's the one perk of Smite: it's fairly diverse racially at least compared to other mobas.

i was only able to play two bot sessions last night, but am I deceived or is there no item shop in this game
