What is everyone's opinion on grapefruit juice?

My medication has a label specifically stating not to drink it!

Grapefruit juice is another thing I can't have due to my medicine. It really sucks because I love grapefruits and their juice. Give me a glass of sour grapefruit juice and an entire huge block of extra sharp cheddar and I'm good to go.

Cranberry juice is also a thing I can't have but I was never a huge fan of it anyway so no real loss there.

    WHAT.

I am so disappointed in you. We are still pals though.

I've had regular tea that I liked, but I am super impatient and preparation time inherently makes things less appealing to me. :P

Do you have a kettle ?

I put the kettle on, get cups, bags in, sugar, milk out and usually by then it's done.

But if you don't have a kettle waiting for water to boil is the worst, so I get that!

    AHA!

    Doesn't? Have a kettle?

    Huh? That doesn't make sense.

If you have a sink you have a kettle.

How are you gonna fill a kettle without a sink, huh Liiya?

It was originally "If you have a kitchen" but I have definitely known people who didn't have kitchens but did have kettles.

I'm not sure they even carry any of these magic electric kettles you are talking about.

your electric kettle will do you no good once solar flares wipe out the power grids. Don't you see, your government is trying to kill you! Once they kill the power all your tea will be useless without boiling water and all the UK will starve to death.

I dunno, I don't drink tea so much with meals, except maybe breakfast and morning/afternoon tea

    It's more of a between-meal drink.

Yeah it increases blood concentration of certain drugs.

Or massively decrease some. Immunosuppressants bind to the grapefruit juice and get flushed out of the system. Basically it would straight kill a transplant patient, and I assume fuck the day of lupus patients. Dunno why but it's a thing.

Grapefruit tends to be pretty gross to me, especially the actual fruit rather than a prepared juice.

One time I was offered some Citrus Maxima while picking up some Chinese food, and that was pretty good.
