Fox News is a million times more popular and influential than pbs and they're
I mean they're fox news
it's only ever a problem when someone in the media has a left-wing opinion
because the media has a liberal bias
I mean sure, outside of a tiny sliver of publicly funded news that nobody watches, all media outlets are just PR arms of enormous multi-billion dollar corporate conglomerates with no remaining discernible firewall between editorial, advertising, and corporate interests
and sure many of those conglomerates are openly right-wing in outlook and lobbying
and sure the most watched cable news network is comically, absurdly, and openly interested in nothing more than conservative boosterism
and sure all of the other cable news networks have fallen all over each other attempting to copy that model
but nevertheless, the media has a liberal bias. It's Common Knowledge™

Seriously though
I don't remember her moderating a debate in 2012. Wikipedia says she didn't.
I'm having a sidetime moment.

I wonder if people are confusing her with Candy Crowley. She moderated the "proceed, senator" debate and arguably helped Obama set the trap.
Wikipedia says Ifill moderated a VP debate in 2004 and one in 2008.

Guys vote
Order pizza with money I don't have or make pasta that I DO have ingredients for
It has come to my attention that there is an American tennis player named Jack Sock.
It must have been pretty rough growing up with a name that sounds like something a 14-year-old boy keeps under the mattress next to a worn-out copy of Hustler.

My mom watches PBS News Hour.
She is a big Gwen Ifill fan.
But you know? She was never going to vote for Mitt Romney. Not even in an infinite number of alternate universes.
So I'm questioning what the damage is exactly.
Unless the fact that there is actually news that isn't controlled by Rupert Murdoch constitutes some sort of urgent emergency.

Whoa.
If he bro'ed any harder he would be legally required to change his name to Chad.

Oh man I just started filling my pasta pot with water and there was a parsons spider in it! Glad I noticed >_<
I'm not a Gwen Ifil fan, but I don't think she'd be a better journalist if she just subscribed to the pretence that journalists are robots and that there are no wrong sides on any political issue

Ifill's first book, The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama, was released on January 20, 2009, Inauguration Day.[10][11] The book deals with several African American politicians, including Barack Obama and such other up-and-comers as Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick and Newark, New Jersey, mayor Cory Booker. The publisher, Random House, describes the book as showing "why this is a pivotal moment in American history" through interviews with black power brokers and through Ifill's observations and analysis of issues.
McCain said in an interview on Fox News Channel, "I think she will do a totally objective job because she is a highly respected professional." Asked about the forthcoming book, McCain responded, "Does this help...if she has written a book that's favorable to Senator Obama? Probably not. But I have confidence that Gwen Ifill will do a professional job."
All Republican presidential candidates should be required to run Sarah Palin as their running mate so I will remember who their running mates were later.

pot must now be sterilized with plasma directly from the sun
aka fire it into the sun it's now a spider breeding ground
PBS newshour has over a million more viewers than fox news, and NPR has 5-6 times as many listeners as fox news has viewers
People think Fox News is more important than it is, but even their highest rated show, the Oreilly Factor, only has around 2.5 million viewers
For reference, Game of Thrones has 7-8 million viewers
Cable news in general has fuck all for viewership compared to other forms of news, but politicians watch it
I don't know what I'm looking at here.
Then we must move to a new solar system, one with an untainted sun.
Ours will be a wandering species for a long time.
