Lots of practise and feedback, and I guess as an amateur I have an emerging style that looks for bold primary flavor combinations. I can definitely taste things! I also seem to have a weird thing where i can remember exactly what something tasted like to me, so I can reproduce it later.
I went through a period of oversalting / spicing things but I'm past that now.
After that small tangent into the conundrum of words I ran off to the bookstore
Found a book on Derrida that warmed my broken heart - A link to the essay in particular but Plato's skepticism of the written word also echoes
In short I ended up buying $100 worth of books about difference and repetition
I think that's one or two three or more more pips into Etiquette: Academic than I'm specced for.
Did you do a BA or a graduate degree in philosophy? I love philosophy but it's a casual relationship; not a whole lot there for me outside of half a dozen classes in undergrad (half of those political philosophy) and reading L'etranger and Sartre's fiction.
Nah I just minored in an obscure branch of philosophy, majored in a self-created thingy revolving around political theory
But I feel like political philosophy lends itself well to semiotics and stuff about the nature of communication/discourse
I read The Crying of Lot 49 freshman year of college and it was all downhill into Evil Multifarious' snide frou-frou lair from there

Speaking of The League of Justice, I noticed something that may be of interest especially because of earlier discussion today.
Wonder Woman is supposed to be in this movie, correct? I have been seeing a lot of merchandise connected to the film or at least capitalizing on the film, and Wonder Woman is all over the merchandise. Possibly even overrepresented.
And yet she's nowhere to be found in the marketing for the film itself.
Is there a reason for that?

oh yes that is normal. What that number means is how long the program keeps your input in a buffer before actually processing it. A delay of 0 means it gets processed on the same frame as you pressed the button (so it's not "0" but < 1/60th of a second). It randomly picks from 0-30 frames of delay.
