We had a client on today who was a pretty, really friendly world expert in beer brewing.

Several of the project team had to constantly fend off the vapours. A series of chaise longues were provided to allow them to recompose themselves.

@dynagrip i work for a consulting firm that gets design work from maybe 70% gov, 20% rail, 10% private contractors

I don't get OT, I still have to fill out all my hours so we can bill clients, but my job doesn't care when I come into the office or when I get my work done. All they care about is the work being done. If I did it from 3am - 11am, so be it. If I do it from 9-5pm, that's okay as well. If I decide I want to work from home the entire week, that's also up to me.

That's honestly the biggest perk this job has right now.

The downside is that, since it's so focused on work being done, if you're falling behind you will work long hours and weekends to get it done.

Not in any sense I can think of, to my half-studied historical linguistics dropout knowledge. But my half-education was in Indo-European which Georgian is very definitely not, so who kknows
