Is it weird that this show genuinely makes me try to be a better person?
Like don’t get me wrong, I’m not good at it. But it makes me think about it constantly. We might forking really need this show right now

I hadn't been watching until today, binged the whole season up to this point. I decided to stop worrying about the direction of the show and just trust the writers. It is paying off big time.

Holy shit, they are going for the throat with Florida. This is amazing.
Ah, it stinks, it sucks, it's anthropologically unjust

I had a thought the other day:
What does the Venn diagram of "People who plan to vote for Trump in 2020" and "People who love the Good Place for what it says about morality" look like?
I feel like the two sets are unlikely to have much of an intersection.
Civics is not a consumer product that you can ignore because you don’t like the options presented.
I loved the Chidi break-up rehearsal montage but one thing really struck me - if we take for granted that Janet did create a simulation so good that it can be taken as what would actually happen, it gets really sad. He proposes and she says yes. He has to break up with someone he truly loves and who loves him back, deeply enough to agree to marry him. Also, Eleanor's casual bisexuality makes my life.
Yeah, that is like the third woman on the show she has tried to make out with or expressed serious attraction to.
Tahani, Fake Elanor and Simone.
Seems she got a type.
I dunno. Given her proclivities before her death, and her clear capacity to feel for Chidi (ie the Medium Place video), I'm pretty sure she doesn't have "a" type.

OMG Janet was just wonderful in this Episode. BING!
Janet continues to be the best part about this show
Elenor faking being Janet was also amazing
Jason continues to be the low point of the show for me. The shark bit sums it up perfectly for me. Bit was dumb but funny and didn’t break reality for me until Jason said they had to get on board before the other sharks. That’s just too unrealistic for the sake of a joke. Like there aren’t other sharks. It’s the three of them hearing the pitch. In the context of their own shark tank joke, Jason’s line makes no sense.
They're just going to keep contriving excuses to split them up for the rest of the season. And I get it, and this episode was still funny, but it's a bummer.

I think history have shown that any prediction for what they're going to do "for the rest of the season" is probably not going to work out for you.

I loved it.
Bing.
Don't look at me, it's embarrassing.
was probably my favorite thing
or was he just his "bro"?
Also, the reveal that Pillboi was an actual meds nurse at a retirement home broke me for being so perfect.

Bro", not "that's my bro, bro. "
Also, Pillboi at the nursing home is a spinoff show I'd watch
Hearing Manny as Manny and not as Jason is so tonally jarring.
It was perfect.
OOOOOH YAAAAAH!

She has "every" type.

YOU BOTH IT!
It would ruin the whole 'Florida Man...' meme for one thing. :P
If not there should be.
I've only got the UK edition.
“BING!”

Do you really want to know the mind of a Jacksonvillian?
Edit: Wait that doesn't look right, Jacksonvilltonian? Jacksonvillite? Hmm, doesn't look right either.
Duval County is where Jacksonville is. Apparently it's a thing Jags fans do. Manny was saying they got yelled about not doing it by Jags fans.
