The Murloc is interesting, because it helps with those turns where you want to develop a huge board of murlocs. But at 4 mana he costs a lot himself and the stat spread isn't great. A 3/3 would be better, I feel.
I like the design, doubt it will see play (even in murloc warlock, regardless of how good that deck is).
Ah, yes, the classic Loclock deck.
Sorry to jump back in time a few pages here, but the more I think about it the more I think this just exists because like a year ago one designer leaned over to another and said "I bet I can get them to say loclock"
The Freeze mage result is sort of shocking. There's enough Control warrior plodding around in there that I figured they would never make it all the way to the end..
I am not going to say it's a good matchup but it's far better than it used to be with the extra torches and kobold
I played freeze mage a decent amount last month and while it was never against super high level opponents I one a few games against control warriors where they gained a shitton of armor
Interestingly, this is also the first neutral Aggro card they've shown. Outside of the Hogriders I guess? But those are jank and won't see any play not even in niche decks.
It's too slow a card to really see play (you'd almost always rather just run Wolfrider/Argent Horserider, and Wolfrider itself is actually pretty bad), but it's not like... hot garbage, either, I guess. I think Backstreet Leper is unplayable, for the most part, though. Like if Twisted Worgen doesn't see play, this won't either. Sure, it has the potential to represent 5 damage, but it's a 3 mana 3/1.
I can understand their reasoning and why they printed it. I think they're trying to be careful with Aggro cards this time around, but still want to have some new Aggro cards. So, this.

they can barely pressure you which helps
Interesting. Intuitively I would have thought it was worse since Antonidas has been cut from most of the lists!
Is C'Thun warrior winnable? That seems harder, it has even more armor gain.

the fact that it can target any of your minions makes it way more playable than demonfuse, but i still don't know how much you'll really need that, you have PO if you need combo burst turns

It is better than Demonfuse, but what it actually is I think is the ~~rng spice~~ of a terrible outcome on that minion that gives you a random potion.

I called that the warlock potion would be a variation on PO. I don't think it's that bad, +3/+3 is a sizable buff. Landing it on an imp gang boss would be great.
Probably not good enough for constructed zoo decks but a mid tier arena pick.

That was amazing. Malchezzar even pulled Nat the Darkfisher.

Legend player Day9, you mean?
Day9 just blew like 4000 gold on Tavern Brawls and he doesn't even care. I love him for that.
Sorry to jump back in time a few pages here, but the more I think about it the more I think this just exists because like a year ago one designer leaned over to another and said "I bet I can get them to say loclock"
I mean he's a professional streamer, it's his job to do that
and he's gonna blow a bunch of $$$ for the pack opening stream when the expansion comes out, comes with the territory
6 is 7 packs, 250 gold, 250 dust, so that's probably 1000 gold worth.
Origin: KafkaAU B-Net: Kafka#1778
7 packs alone is $9.99. So yeah, I'd say 6 wins breaks even.
Reynad is just, the saltiest streamer I have ever watched.
Twitch: KoopahTroopah - Steam: Koopah
it's kind of his shtick
he does say some pretty clever stuff when he's not tilted totally off the face of the earth
Sure, but he's so carefree about it. I just appreciate the attitude.
reynad's vlogs are genuinely good and at times insightful
any clip of reynad from his stream is garbage trash fire adding to the filth and vileness of gaming communities
TRUE STORY DAY9
He needs to just stop paying attention to chat.
i don't think he has any intention of changing because it makes him money
What even is the thought process here? Did they not learn anything from purify?
this is nothing like purify 1. because it's not a class card 2. because it's in a big expansion with a lot of other cool cards
purify was bad because in a small adventure each class only gets 3 cards so having one of them be trash makes it a lot more relatively trash
nobody cared about an'gam rager being awful because trash commons are just part of the game, sometimes you get a crap arena pick with them
No translation for the name yet, but it's a potion. 3 mana, Give a minion +3 attack. If it's a demon, also give it +3 health.
Here's the video:

Supposedly it's
3 Mana Warlock Spell (it's a potion)
Give a minion +3 attack. If it's a Demon, give it +3 Health as well.
Won't bother posting the card until we get some confirmation.

Yeah, Midrange Shaman is a good deck.
I, for one, am shocked.
It has Blackwing Technicians (and a Book Wyrm) with only 5 Dragons total.
Edit: Ended 10-3.
Sounds about right.
Probably not good enough for constructed zoo decks but a mid tier arena pick.
