I need to stop drafting Vikings. My team understood to group as four, but spent all early game trying to four man push bottom while mid and top went uncontested. A lone viking can't stand up to pressure, and Valla literally soloed our fort and was never ganked.

I think our Murky was either autistic or a little kid, only two explanations I can think of for his behavior.
My literal job is to provide ABA therapy to autistic children. It would be super cool if we didn't use that term as a put-down.
I wasn't using it as a put-down. I was serious. I think he might have been autistic.
EDIT: Had a third game in a row with the guy, he confirmed it. Doesn't justify him being super toxic three games in a row though. Explain it, sure, justify it, no.
How would you know someone is autistic based on how they are playing? And how would he confirm it?
I'm legitimately curious, not trying to flame you.
Oooooooh, that feel when you start soloing people when you hit 16 or 20 with Murky and the dynamic totally changes. Yes, Mael'thael, pop your ult just for me. It's not going to save you.
Edit: Also motherfucking Mael'thael kills pufferfish by just autoing it when he starts hitting it halfway through. Pufferfish has just been assigned to late-game wave clearing because literally 80% of the roster can kill it easily.
Murky can solo Malth from lvl 1. Murky absolutely shits all over Malth's face. He can't do damage to you easily, he can't heal off you and he can't escape your slimes. Just dance around him and keep sliming.
The problem is that's assuming there isn't a wave nearby to heal off of, and in the early game there almost always is. He can outsustain the hell out of you if he plays it right; you can usually avoid straight up dying to him, if you remember to allow time to run away after he teleports to you, but you'll never kill them before that if they're playing at all competently.
Also them not healing off of Soul Rip because you have a small health pool is nowhere near as big a deal as the nuke hitting you every two seconds cutting through your small health pool.
The healing from a wave is not very much compared to the damage Murky can put out by staying on target. Plus, waves die. Malth should not even come close to winning a lane vs Murky. You will bully him out or kill him with minimal if any deaths. Just drop the fish and do the slime dance. His sustain is not high enough to win vs low health targets.

yeah i've had people throw a fit that "vikings are so bad they can't even clear lanes!" when i'm lined up against a zagara or azmodan. naturally any requests for assistance no matter how frequent or desperate go unanswered. i just dont play them anymore.

Hey dude.
When someone tells you "don't say this thing, it's pretty offensive and Not Cool"
Don't double down on it.
I don't care if you didn't mean it as a put-down, I don't care if you were serious. The intention is still there all the same.
Just don't say it. Period.
"I think our Murky was a little kid" would have been completely fine. You didn't need the other part, regardless of how you meant it.
As someone who's autistic, I'm fine with someone saying that someone who's acting autistic is acting autistic.
Okay, like, what does this even mean though.
So, is he saying then that "being autistic" equates to "acting like a little kid"? Because that's not cool either. Because all of a sudden he's then saying that all autistic people act like little kids.
Like that's just such a strange thing to say. "Someone who is acting autistic". What does that even mean? What does "acting autistic" mean to you, then??
Just don't. Don't stereotype autism, don't fold all autistic people under some sort of singular umbrella, and never ever assume that someone is autistic based on how they're acting.
Edit: Also, just as a heads up: Just because you, singularly, are okay with it? Doesn't mean everyone else is. It's still an offensive thing to say/assume, so the best course of action is to just, not say it.
Edit Again: Put another way: Replace "autistic" in that sentence above with ANY other derogatory word you can think of. Just as an example, as much as I hate this word, "Someone who's acting retarded is acting retarded".
And now you can see why it might not be such a good idea to, yknow, say things in that way.

No, I get it, trust me.
But, regardless, it's generally not a good idea to... assume that someone has a mental disability. Even if you think they do, just keep that to yourself!
And it's not a good idea to say that someone is "acting like they have x" either, because that can be... offensive, or viewed as insulting.

Auriel is still tons of fun and I can make sick plays with her but it's not helpful when you have to explain to teammates
- I need you to do damage so I can heal. Running away out of the middle of the teamfight as your health evaporates gives me no energy. Smash their faces I got u.
- Please don't hard engage right as I'm walking back from spawn and haven't generated energy yet.
- I cannot get close enough to heal you if you dive one thousand feet into their back line. (The lament of all healers except khara)
- Try grouping with low health teammates for maximum efficiency! Or you could dodge out of my aoe heal that works too ><
Real talk like this is why you are our Mod-Lady of the Threads.
I think parto f the reason I do a semi eye-roll when I see an Auriel is that even if SHE plays well, the rest of the team (me included) may not play well with her. She doesn't require Medivh-level coordination but it's absolutely enough to trip up many (most?) casual teams if they aren't on mics at the least.

How do people still not understand hanamura? Why do all these scrubs keep refusing to push keeps and forts. They just wander around and push carts all day. I really wish that they'd just remove the whole map from the rotation for a year or so. Sick of it.
It's not THAT dissimilar to when Towers first launched, honestly. The mercs being very different makes sense to me as being confusing, though, both in that they drop items and actually add a decent chunk of exp when taken.
Mutations:
QM Rules - Pretty basic and one of the few supported by custom game options. The teams will have no knowledge of what the other team is doing for their comp. Teams will get one ban each at the start.
Warcraft vs All - The hero pool is divided into Warcraft heroes and everyone else. A coin toss to decide which team gets first pick of which hero pool they will use for their choices in the draft.
Old School - No hero newer than Thrall. Roster choices: Zeratul, Valla, Uther, Tyrande, Tyrael, Tassadar, Stitches, Sonya, Sgt. Hammer, Raynor, Nova, Nazeebo, Muradin, Malfurion, Kerrigan, Illidan, Gazlowe, Falstad, E.T.C, Diablo, Arthas, Abathur, Tychus, Li Li, Brightwing, Murky, Zagara, Rehgar, Chen, Azmodan, Anub'arak, Jaina, and Thrall.
Blind Bluff - The match uses the same settings as the qm one but the teams act like its a draft with the trick being the enemy team can bluff about who their picking. When picking a hero the team says two hero's names, one of them being true. The enemy team then picks which one they believe is the real one and behave accordingly (aka they treat that hero as being out of the pool but the second one is still a viable choice).

The player literally freaked out anytime someone was in "their" lane, had trouble communicating/working with others in a very specific way. They would fixate on a specific player or play objective and be completely unable to shift focus. It reminded me a lot of the way some autistic people I met through my brother in law's brother (he's developmentally disabled) and special olympics acted. The first game, that behavior could also just be explained by him being a little kid and wanting "his" lane. The next two, on different characters, showed it wasn't. He confirmed it by when the flame war started in the third game I just told our team "hey, I've had a couple of games with ~player~ and I think he's autistic, just be cool and do the best we can", ~player's~ response was "yes" and everyone else chilled out, but he continued the exact same behavior regardless.
Dude, this thing where you're being more outraged on behalf of someone else and telling them their opinion on their own condition and treatment by others doesn't matter because of your super-pure moral stance... dude, just don't do it. It is goosey AF. When I was in my early 20's an Army training accident completely destroyed my neuromuscular system. I was in a coma on life support for months, when I started recovery, it was very, very easy to mistake my condition for someone with some forms of mental retardation or MDS. Even trying to do something as simple as press a button in an elevator or get around in my wheelchair was a real challenge. Rando idiots pointing and laughing or mimicing my awkward movements was rare, but whatever, it was pretty clear they were immature or jerks. The people that hurt the most were the ones that were "on my side" and just assumed I was incapable of doing anything myself and relegated me to less than a full person status, because I was somehow incapable of dealing with life on my own. Seriously dude, don't do that. Just don't.
Always feel free to hit me up for games in client bro.
EDIT: I won't be talking about this again, or replying to any posts on it because this is a thread about videogames and HotS, and I don't want it to turn into something else. If anyone wants to chat more about it or tell me I'm a baddie or whatever, pls confine it to PMs. Thanks.

Oh, one tip, Kieri, towards the end there, when Greymane was chasing you hard, you should have run towards Varian, not away from him, that way he could have worked with you to take down Grey. I know it's hard to think of looping around when you're like "omg i have no health he's gonna keeel me!" but you guys could have picked him easy if you'd done that.
Yeah for sure. I probably should have done that at the start. I thought I could outrun greymane with my trait but he has gap closers as well.
@MNC Dover Yeah I know a bunch of people said at some point or another that they might want to commentate. At this point, I'll just say that I'll be streaming with @Inquisitor77 so we can build off of last time. And then if there are still other people who want to do it, they can do it in a separate stream. Sound good?
Hey @MNC Dover I am officially requesting that our team name be changed to "Stacks, tho", in honor of a match I played with Dibby and Rynox this morning.

And you had ~1270 when it was about to impact. BUT the 20 Armor from your Creep would've reduced it down to 1056, leaving you at 214 health.
I disjointed a pyroblast with Greymane's E the other day, which I didn't even know what possible. Was just trying to get into worgen form for the 10 armor.
Don't use "autistic" as an insult. I know people who avoided treatment because everyone is so keen on making it the new "retarded." If they're literally autistic, then tread carefully in your wording.
